Cute place. The pictures I'd seen didn't do it justice. The food was good. My tuna melt was unlike anywhere else I've had it. It was like a tuna salad melt which was interestingly tasty. The service was good. The server wasn't particularly friendly but she did her job promptly and efficiently. Would definitely come back.

An average dinner, friendly service with down home cooking. I ordered the Texas Omelette, and it would have been very good, but there were egg shells all over the thing haha! Decent cup of coffee that won't ever be half empty.
Note they do take credit cards, but as of March 1st, they charge a .50 fee.
Parking is limited, so good luck!

The breakfast here is awesome. It's hard to find a place that makes a good corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy. Chef's coffee shop does a great job with both. Their pancakes are decent.
Staff is friendly and the regulars who inhabit the diner in the afternoon give the place a grandparent's house atmosphere.
I would definitely prefer this place over Dennys.

Have been going to this wonderful ol place for over 30 years now ! Same place, same great food, the best salsa , biscuits and gravy, wow you'll enjoy , go early nice and cool seating outside for now but comfortable. You'll see regulars there 100 year old folks , nice and friendly :)

Chefs is a very nice place to eat. The food is always good. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. It is worth your time to give them a try if you haven't already tried them yet. They've been in business for a long time and treat you like family. Stop in some time you may make some new friends.
