Uno Pizzeria & Grill

I drove 2 1/2 hours to Appleton and ended up eating at UNO”s because I remember as a child 20+ years ago it was a RAVe but never got to find out for myself! The atmosphere as far as decor (lots of wood) and air conditioning pumping was nice! The food was disgusting I ordered a “deep dish” pizza and French fries! I should have known something was really off when the waiter told me my fries were being served 10 minutes before the pizza!! We munched on the fries that tasted like oil and fish! The deep dish was very very hard crust on the bottom and sides almost like a cement brick so scooped the RAW sparse toppings off and gave my daughter a piece. I took my second bite trying to make the best of it and a sharp BONE jabbed my back tooth! I stopped eating and waited a very long time for my waiter while all the workers gathered around standing and starring which was always and rude (it was slow) We didn’t eat and was told the manager wasn’t there (go figure) and I was still charged full price even though the pizza sat there was almost forced to take it home but I didn’t want to risk being sick! I don’t have good luck with picking fast food but I wanted to try for my daughter and I will never be back! It was dirty I left my phone number to be called back but never heard a thing! It was one of those situations they knew but was interested in making sure I shut up and paid Edit: I reached out to them after they sent the reply on this forum. They replied back asking me to wait and I kept waiting and replying and they ignored me. They said they wanted to help but never did I still email them and they still ignore me

Food presentation:5/5 everything looked amazing Food taste: 4/5 salad was very good, had a pizza as well and I felt like the crust lacked flavor. The crust was spot on with texture and how well it was cooked. I just felt like I never got to taste it. Service 3/5: it's wasent that the service was bad but I felt like we were often waiting. Even if the food was going to take a bit longer I felt like it would have been nice to have that communicated. It just felt like along every step of the meal, from being seated to the check, we weren't being checked on if we had been helped Cleanliness 5/5 : the place is well upkept and clean.

Arrived for a pick-up order to wait for another 20 minutes while help staff locked the front door and shut off the lights outside the restaurant. The cook got sick and left so they were not doing anymore indoor dining tonight. I got home to find the pizza had a small slice removed from it, the pizza had obviously sat on the cardboard for hours given the amount of grease on it, and it had been reheated and was not freshly baked. What a disappointment.
