George's is one of the few true Steak Houses north of Milwaukee and the only one in the Fox Valley. We live in Oshkosh we're there is no Steak Houses and don't mind a 20 minute drive for a great steak. There were three of us tonight, Two had the Rib Eye tonight and it was perfect. It was so tender that it fell apart and could cut it easily. The other meal was the Friday Night Perch Special which was recently voted the best perch dinner in Northeast Wisconsin. As with the steaks everything was seasoned perfectly that nothing needed to be added. The waitress very friendly and was on top of her game and had refills on drinks brought as soon as our glasses were empty. There is a reason that this place has been around for as long as they have been and I will continue to keep coming back as long as they are open.
I was at George's Friday with bus tour. Everyone on the tour thought their meal was very good. The wait staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend George's Steak House to anyone who is looking for a great meal, friendly wait staff and reasonable prices. I definitely would go to George's Again
5 stars!! Emma was our server and she was AMAZING! Fast, kind, and accommodating!! The food was great! We had the 9oz ribeye and steak stroganoff dinners. Soup & salad were both also fantastic! All was delicious!
Yum! So good and a welcome night out as a solo drinker and diner, 😆 Been coming here since I was a kid so 50+ yrs and its always the best atmosphere for Friday night out 😍
What a wonderful staff! The bartender was engaging delightful and very adept at making our old fashions. The meal continued without standing stakes, good service and a wonderful atmosphere. George's is an old Fox Valley classic and it's easy to see why they've endured the test of time
This is a gem that I hope never goes away. It starts with the piano bar, the music, the bartenders, the drink selection, the pricing, the hostess, waitress, the food choices, efficiency of the meal, the preparation, the taste and value will bring us back. Kudos to all. Did I mention the dessert was excellent too.
Fast service and a comfortable atmosphere. The steak was excellent and I really really enjoyed the clam chowder. One suggestion is that the baked potato was a little cold. Maybe some tin foil. Otherwise it was a great experience
Great steaks! The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The staff is friendly and attentive. I recommend eating here.
Bartender was so polite and gracious! Everything from the pate/cheese, soup, salad, scallops and prime rib were spot on! Although, our waitress seemed a bit "under enthused" to be there, everything was great!
