Trying Mark’s fish fry for the first time, this was our second visit to this establishment. Was seated immediately, which was nice. Ordered two drinks, which arrived promptly. Both of us ordered AYCE fish fry, which comes with fries, slaw, tartar sauce, and a roll. For the price ($16), it would be nice to have choice of potato, which is common at many places. Food arrived very quickly. Fish was acceptable, although not very hot and a bit dry. One of us had requested a baked potato, and it wasn’t hot enough to even melt a pat of butter. Slaw was very good, and the rolls seemed fresh. Requested one more piece of fish, and it arrived good and hot, and it wasn’t dry like the first batch. Overall, satisfactory, but not memorable. Service was prompt and courteous. 😊

Yummy! Taste buds were having a party. My girlfriend and I were celebrating her birthday and I chose this restaurant. She needs to eat gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer just for customers that need to eat gluten free. The haystack onion rings were fantastic. I ordered a shrimp sandwich and my friend a pecan salad. Our meals were delicious, cooked perfectly, and enjoyed with a glass of 🍷. The friendly waitress was the best considering how busy the place was ( not a long wait either for our food to be served).

We had a group of 6 that went for the first time tonight! From walking in the door until we left…the service, atmosphere, drinks and food were outstanding! Started the evening with Old Fashioneds and we were quickly taken to a table where we shared appetizers of cheese curds, Scotch eggs and onion tanglers. 2 in our party ordered clam chowder and French onion soup which were very tasty! Our entrees were AMAZING!! Perch dinner, Fisherman’s Platter, French dip and 3 Ribeye Dinners! I had a gluten free perch dinner, it was Amazing, but also tried the Ribeye which was melt in your mouth, perfectly seasoned, perfection on a plate! Our waitress was Ashley and she was top notch! Outstanding, very efficient, and friendly! We stopped here to try something new. We will continue to come back because everything was incredible!! 10 STARS!!!

This was the first time we had ever been there. The bar tender, was very nice and helpful. The drinks were great! Then the hostess came to get us to be seated. Emily our waitress, was amazing! She hassled like I never seen before. She had to have been taken care of maybe 3 other tables and never missed a beat. The food was truly amazing! They also had a few vegan options. What a great experience. We will be back the next time in town! Thank you!

WOW!! Can't say enough good things. Our server, Sarah (on her first Friday night serving, nonetheless!!), was extraordinary and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! And food was excellent! My steak was cooked to perfection and just melted in my mouth. I thought the price was a little high but it was worth every penny! Definitely add Mark's East Side to your list of restaurants to try!

Everything from the atmosphere to the food was perfect. The server was very good. And helpful, because we had never been there before. It totally made date night that much more special.

Looked it up here on Zomato and trusted the reviews. Very nice & pleasant surprise. Some great traditional local German favorites. I had the Pan Fried fish which had a little more skin than I bargained for. Nevertheless it was very good. Friend had the Bone in T-Bone which was way bigger than expected. He struggled to finish it, but got it done. He started off his meal with Liver Dumpling soup which he stated was absolutely delicious.<br/>Our service was very timely and our Server very knowledgeable of the menu and the beer selection.<br/>I have to say this place was very good and had some unique menu items. I will definitely return at my next opportunity. It is a winner!

Excellent. Brings me back to go there, as the interior hasn't changed much since I are there over 50 years ago when it was The Normandie Supper Club. Outstanding food, and good service. Go there. You won't be disappointed.

Since I’m trying to cut down on the salt I opted for the salad and soup bar. The soup was bean and ham, which I didn’t try but was told was very tasty. Everything on the salad bar was fresh, there was plenty of everything to go around during a busy lunch session, and there were a few interesting accompaniments. One of those accompaniments was the warm bacon salad dressing. Given the whole salt thing, I allowed myself only a teaspoon or so of the savory substance.

...had scallops as my main dish and they were cooked perfectly. I requested half pan seared and half breaded and I enjoyed both. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. The deep fried scallops were breaded with panko which added a nice extra crunch. My girlfriend’s chicken cordon bleu was fantastic as well;

A++++. I am not from the area but visit quite often for work. I wanted to visit someplace different and was referred to Mark's East Side. Myself and a colleague of mine were very impressed and disappointed that we did not know about Mark's sooner! The atmosphere was great, our server / bartender was great, but more importantly our food was amazing - one of the best steaks we have had!

Top Notch!. Mark's is my favorite overall restaurant in the valley. Service, Atmosphere, and excellent food & drinks have been a hit every time I've visited. This is my first recommendation for any out of town visitors.

We have eaten at Marks two different times now. Once on a Friday night, for there fish fry and once during the week. Both times we had a wonderful experience, great service, and delicious food!! The wait when we went on a Friday night was VERY long (1 1/2 hours) but my husband and I both thought it was worth the wait.

Classic,. This is a fantastic restraunt that has evolved from Wisconsin Supper Club roots to a restraint for all today. Clearly the owners take special care because every time I'm in there is a new remodel or change. Great cocktails, seafood and German food.

Dined on Feb 12th - 5pm. We unfortunately were sat at a able in the bar area. It was so noisy we couldn't even hear each other. Service was poor. Prices were high and food was mediocre at best - the ribeye and porterhouse was full of grissel. Furnishings were outdated. We will never go back.

Great fish fry. This is where we go when we want a Friday Fish Fry...you'll have to stand and wait in the bar if you get there after 5:30. We try and go earlier. They have wonderful battered haddock. Fries are the crinkly kind, sort of average, as is the cole slaw. But, we go for the fish and it's among the best that we've had in the Fox Valley.
