We go to the Dog Run Saloon for their pork tenderloin sandwich. It is the BEST one around and big enough to share. Our favorite bartender is Gail, she rocks! Wednesday wing night is pretty good too.

Its out of the way for me, but I always have a good time there. The Dog Run is unassuming about what it is and doesn't act like anything its not. I've always had great service and the karaoke dj and participants are all stellar! Pool tables and good music easily slide my experiences to 5 stars

Great karaoke bar. The singers are usually really good. Food is Great and staff is friendly. Family atmosphere until the kitchen closes then I think it's 21+ but not sure. Karaoke is Wednesday Friday and Saturday at 8pm

It a great place for the Cod fish fry. Everyday of the week cod is served but discounted on Friday. The food is great and reasonable. I’m not a drinker but the beer is cold and the crowd seems to enjoy the drinks.

Gone here several times, and it’s always been a good time. They have pool, beer, food, and usually some friendly people to interact with. Bartenders are nice and attentive, and get drinks out quickly.

An unusual change from the standard.....not the establishment itself...nor its offerings... no, the character of Dog Run is found in its clientele. Rough, certainly not standard preppy country club(nor substandard CC either), but somewhere between rough cowboy and rough construction worker. And to add to the allure, everybody was friendly and respectful....almost damonrunyonlike without the melancholy. The barmaid DaCinda(sp?) was attentive and gracious, and the menu reasonable. We enjoyed their Friday Fish Fry (cod, 4pcs with fries & coleslaw $18) on our Monday visit...could've been Tuesday thru Thursday as well, and yes, on the weekend too. Friday Fish Fry is apparently a 7 day deal. Very tasty on our Monday, and I'm sure just as good on the other 6 days. Now our visit may have been unusual, and not indicative of the usual Dog Run ambiance.... I hope not. My Dog Run experience enhanced Apache Junction. It added to the color of the community. I hope your experience does too.

I'm a regular at this bar and as an avid pool player I highly recommend the dog run to play or eat the very good food. The service is exceptional and in my opinion then best bar in the East valley if not the whole state.

This is the most fun I’ve had at a bar in arizona ever. It’s a more GenX bar. Most are boomer bars or ya know like really elderly calm types. The Dj was fun and his wife bartends and sings. The whole place has such a fun vibe. We didn’t eat tonight but we will next time. And we will be back 3 days a week till April.
If you a GenXer looking for a spot I’d suggest you stop by. LGBTQ friendly and like most GenX spots it’s a “ we don’t care you are, just how ya act “…

Amazing food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and amazing people. Usually I see people in their 30's-60's here but I enjoy coming here in my early to mid 20's!

I mean for where this place is in a small town of AJ it’s a pretty cool dive bar. Food is good and the drinks are cheap. The people who come here seem to be very laid back. Doesn’t feel intimidating in here if you know what I mean?
