Reviews of Filly's Restaurant & Lounge

Some reviews rail about the poor service or food. My take is try it! We've been there twice during busy Sundays and loved it. Music was good, two different bands, the dancing was awesome both for my wife and I, AND for cowboy/cowgirl watching and we loved the wings and their hog wings (my fav). Its a busy place though!!

Awesome broasted chicken at Filly's Roadhouse! We were there on the Sunday night and the live band made it a fun and festive Outdoor Experience. They had their very large outdoor patio open and the Sunset provided us a beautiful view of the Superstition Mountains right from our picnic bench. Our broasted chicken was served hot and very crispy, the cornbread was sweet and warm, and the coleslaw and potato salad we had were served nice and cold. Everybody was friendly and welcoming and lots of folks enjoyed the large dance area in front of the live band.

What a fun place! There's a stage and a dance floor. The waitresses are really nice and it gets packed in there. Some of the best BBQ pulled pork ive ever had and the portion is huge! Yummy coleslaw and fries and sweet potato fries, and they home make their ranch which is so delicious. There's a bar and the bartender is really good. It's a cowboy style old West place. There's a giant patio for outdoor seating and they are not dog friendly but the parking lots are big and open and we ate outside with the dogs. It's a great place to go after w long hike or a day in the lake. Gorgeous scenery all around, close to the lost Dutchman state park and Apache trail. Definitely want to go again and try more things, such as the fried avocado slices. They do takeout and seating. It's pretty loud in there but it's fun! Kind of an older crowd but still enjoyable to people watch and talk to strangers!

This place is awesome, food is great always cooked perfect. The waitresses , bartenders and the Cook's make you feel right at home. I stop in twice a week. I don't drink. But I love the atmosphere and food. I tried the other restaurants in the area, hands down this place is the best. Must stop in before heading up to the lake. Thank you Filly's Roadhouse.

This place is a hoot! Great wings, and don't miss the "hog wings!" We got there at 11ish on a Sunday and got a table right away, but it fills up quickly and had we waited to long we might never have gotten seated. We say outside so we could listen to the band, look at the mountains, and see the horses with their riders come in. If you are in Phoenix, this is a place not to miss!

Such a great environment. My friends got wings and they were huge. Affordable drinks, giant outdoor seating area with a stage, great bands, and just a lot of fun. It's pretty darn affordable, too, which is nice in this day and age. It's not fancy-it's your good old fashioned neighborhood place with basic, but delicious food and excellent friendly service.

There is live music everyday they are open. (Tuesday-Sunday) The staff are all kind hearted and fun to talk to. The place has a amazing vibe and has a lot of positive energy. A really great place to go on the weekends and kick it with some friends, or even have a date night and dance with your spouse to some live music either inside or outside both have a dance floor. The owner is always there so if there is a problem it's usually solved fairly quickly and with care. If you haven't been here go try it because the food is the best part of this place, the cooks are the best maybe even best in the world.

We came here after a long, grueling hike up Flat Iron. This place was an oasis in the desert. Service was quick. Food was great. The live band on a Sunday afternoon was fantastic. People started dancing. They called out the Michiganders in the room, a few of us were, they immediately welcomed us and started up a chat. Gotta love your friendly Michigander neighbor! Hands down would come back again! Also, the stage theme is so cool and classy! Only con is they didn't have milkshakes! Haha.

A really fun place to listen to live country music and mingle with true cowboys and cowgirls. Folks ride in on their horses and you have the option to eat indoors or out. The service Is good and the food was fine for bar food. We had chicken wings and onion rings for an appetizer and taco salad for main course. All pretty tasty and reasonably priced. This was my third visit. A fun friendly establishment.
