Denny's

I arrived at the restaurant, and while waiting I noticed, there was a sign behind the front podium that said "Power and WiFi available". But when I asked my waitress about sitting near a power outlet, she just looked at me, shook her head, and said "No...". Then she seated me, she jotted down my drink, came back with it. Cool and good. (This is also where I noticed my laptop was almost dead. So much for "Power... available") What wasn't cool and good is she neglected to check in on me after serving me my food, and my drink sat with ice-nothing for a good fraction of an hour. I eventually had to ask a waitress who wasn't mine for a refill, twice (because believe it or not, people get thirsty when they're eating). After I finished my food, I was still thirsty (and I wanted to take advantage of my unlimited refills advertised in big on the menu), however my waitress did not check in on me for a full HOUR. The only time I was ever checked on by the waitress who seated me was immediately after the waitress who wasn't mine served me a refill. After I had enough of (what I believed to be) a terrible service, I eventually got up to pay my bill, being once again helped by the same waitress who wasn't mine. I wish I could have left HER a tip instead of the waitress who seated me, but I didn't want to ask about that. My review would have only 1 star if it wasn't for the other waitress, who went out of her way to serve me drinks and ring me out. Edit: To clarify, this was at midnight service on 6/13. I remember it was busy, but I barely ever saw my original waitress on the dining room floor.

It was very clean. We came around 4AM but they still served great food. I didn't even get a really robust dish, I just got some 9 grain pancakes, but they still tasted great. And their eggs, hash browns, and butter too. The coffee was alright, about what I make at home. There were even some papers for children, and a crane machine.

The 55+ menu items are tasty and filling enough for me. The Cheddar Eggs combo with eggs, sausage, bacon and pancakes is my favorite! I made the mistake of ordering the Cali Club Sandwich. I mean mistake by thinking it would be a huge sandwich like most other Club sandwiches. Instead, it was like 4 little finger sandwiches! See the photo I took of the sandwich. Stick with the basic breakfast fare that they do well. Last week I had the GrandSlamWich, very tasty breakfast sandwich! I went back for breakfast today and ordered off the 55+ menu on the back, about $3 off! Great value, same tasty Grand Slam Breakfast!

Still going to try the food but the service was good 3 out of 5 would have been 5 out of 5 but steak was rubbery don't know whose fault that is server was great talk to chef briefly asked a ? He was courteous enough to be polite and answer it it was regarding the party melt I noticed the chef putting some sauce on it he said it s called dinner cue I would prefer of denny's asked sum1 if they want I think the party melt would have 5 out 5 if it weren't the sauce other then that. Would eat here again just not the steak
