I really do like this place. We don't come often, but have visited for years. Sat quickly, offered drinks right away, food was good, & portions are overwhelming (in a good way)!! I had the country fried steak with eggs/hash browns/ biscuits & my friend ordered the club sandwich with fries. Both of our plates were more than enough food for TWO significant portions each, so you definitely get your money's worth. We paid ~$46 (tip included) for the two meals + coffee. 4/5 stars as of today because you do wait a little while for food & the gravy wasn't the best I've had, but still good. I'd give 4.5 if I could!

Wow, what can I say? Sylvia's was wonderful, my first time there and it was really lovely. It has a very homey atmosphere, from the paper menus to the soft murmers or people talking. The waitstaff are so friendly and helpful, really the sweetest people! Now the food. I cannot praise enough! We tried the German potato soup, which was super creamy and thick (thick enough that I could use a fork!) With bits of potatoes and you can really taste the smoky bacon flavor. The dishes are huge (at least for me) and well worth the price. I got the chorizo omelet and had to take it home! The fries and tuna melt were excellent as well. The fries super crisp but still soft inside and the tuna melt not greasy! All in all. A wonderful spot to eat!

Went to Sylvia's for the first time to have breakfast for Father's day and it was really good! Great place to go for breakfast and lunch. They serve big portions and everything is delicious. I got the lumberjack plate. It comes with two eggs, four bacon, country potatoes(extra charge) and four pancakes! I will definitely come back again to eat at Sylvia's.

Greasy spoon with a long wait. It is a popular place. Hostesses & Waitresses know what they are doing! They are a fine tuned machine. Hubby got the Sunday Breakfast Special - Caggie benedict. I got the Garden omelet. I love how garden omelet had so many vegetables. I am not a vegetarian but I love veggie omelets. French toast was good and they ran out of made muffins. Servings are large. Plenty of parking in a shopping center parking lot. We got parking right in front someone was leaving. There is space to wait outside and an area to sit and wait inside.

The food had always been good and served quickly however once got the Pancakes cut into them, it was very raw in middle an then Pancakes had a weird unpleasant smell to them as if was a bucket of old dish water smelled like mildew, it was very weird. My appetite quickly stopped because of the smell coming from the Pancakes, I try to eat my other breakfast, my eggs and potatoes bacon but this Pancakes experience, I don't plan to return just was gross for me. Didn't even mention anything because I won't return since I had a raw cooked pancake, know mistakes do happen but I don't want to take the risk of getting sick from anything else that might not be cooked properly.

4/21/22 The Corned Beef Hash was back on the Daily Specials Menu this week! Delicious homemade Corned Beef, scrambled eggs and Hash Browns! Today's special, Deb's wrap and creamy chicken and mushroom soup was a great choice for lunch today! I had the "Carl's" omelette with a huge pancake and toast. Delicious and generous portions!

The place gives you HUGE plates! Definitely need to go boxes. Food is pretty good and it's a nice little place to go get breakfast or lunch or anything like that. The broccoli cheddar soup is really good!
