Steve was very helpful, he refreshed us on the operation of the motor, provided us with a towel to wipe off the morning dew, life jackets, boat cushions, whistle, fire extinguisher all provided as well as the gas. He advised us about the wind warning coming later, our safety was foremost on his mind. His wife made the reservation process easy as pie, and you have to try the pizza vending machine outside, it delivered us a hot pizza in 3 minutes, made for a perfect lunch on the go.

We rented the 14 ft boat with 9.9HP motor. The motor worked flawlessly and starting instantly every time. The staff was nice the two times we went. We rented two boats originally but decided against it. They just kept the deposit which is understandable and refunded the rest.We also launched our personal boat 2 weeks prior and we had no issues. You can pay for parking for your car and trailer in a box so you can launch whenever you want.

Our 2nd visit to The Boatyard was an awesome time on the water! Though our pontoon broke down after only 100 yds out, we were given options. 😞. Take a better boat at a later time that day, get a refund or reschedule. We were reluctant to wait but were given an awesome recommendation for lunch on a lake. Once our promised time came, we were having fun! When we came back in, I thanked the owner and she told me that we will also get 💰20% off our next rental! We had a great experience with ALL of the staff! We would recommend this rental business! 👍🏻

The best prices on the Chain. I rented a pontoon from them 3X never had a problem. I can literally call them coming out of work and say hey can I rent a row boat I'm gonna throw my own motor on it and they're like sure the boat will be waiting for you they don't even make me go online to reserve it. To the incredibly math challenged people crashing into bridges, most likely graduates from CPS, way to ruin things for other people. Open your eyes and use common sense. Every rental service on the chain should ban you. Also it is common practice to put a hold on a credit card and to charge you gas. I question what garbage can you people crawled out from.

I highly recommend The Boatyard!!! I rented a 25’ pontoon boat this past Saturday to celebrate a birthday and was so impressed with the staff! Kristen was especially helpful anytime I called with questions!! I highly recommend the Boatyard for boat rentals! The pontoon boat was great, the staff provided great recommendations on where to go, and everyone was extremely friendly! I will definitely be renting from them again!! Thank you Boatyard team for making it such a special celebration!!

Today my wife and I had another great experience on the lake because of the wonderful owners and staff of The Boatyard. They all went out of their way to accommodate all our needs . They made us feel like they were happy to have our business , which is hard to say now days about many businesses . I’ve been going to that location for 45 years , seen previous owners over this amount of time . I must say this couple is doing it right keep up the good work ! We will see you guys a few more times this year for boat rentals , or storage of our hopefully new boat . Highly recommend Boatyard !!!!!!!

Three of us rented a fishing boat to take out and spend the day fishing. The boat was in great condition, and the outboard motor was more than powerful enough to get us around the lakes. Also, the motor was in great condition, and the pull start started every time with one pull. The boat was large enough for three of us and 9 poles and tackle. We didn’t take out a pontoon boat but they had them moored there in the marina. They also were in good condition from what I saw. I strongly recommend this place, their prices are the best on the lakes and their boats exceed expectations. (Can’t blame them for the fishing though…)

We rented a tritoon today and the experience was great. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our boat was well maintained and clean. We had everything we needed for a great day out on the water, including life jackets for everyone. Online booking and payment was simple. We had 14 people in our boat with. 115hp motor so tubing left a little to be desired with the speed we weren’t able to to obtain. Other than that, we had a really great experience. Would absolutely use them again in the future.
