Love this place. Peacefully setback from river traffic but within 1 minute of setting your boat in to join river traffic. Relaxation at its best

Update 2022: Bar still open but no restaurant! What a bummer!
Original review: Fantastic German food (or whatever else you like) on Bluff lake. Get here by car or boat. You can enjoy your meal outside from the top of ridge with a great view of the docks and lake, or sit inside. The portion size is large, making it a good value too. The soup / salad / bread bar has lots of uncommon choices too, which made it a great choice. We will be back for sure.

Good food. Good service. Beautiful view. The sauerkraut and German meatballs were amazing, as well as the fried mozzarella sticks. Yum! Not a fan of spaetzle. Never have been. If you like spaetzle, you'll probably like this spaetzle. All-in-all, a great experience. I can't wait to return and try the so many other interesting menu items.

Went out there on Friday evening for the fish fry and it was great. Get a large portion of fried perch, potatoes, soup and salad bar go along with it.

Love Steitz’s for their Saturday night prime rib special!!! It’s easy to get to from car or boat! Great food and fun rustic atmosphere!

This place is pretty good... Great outdoor seating, excellent food (especially the salad bar).

Good food with generous portions. The wait staff was very attentive. The views of the lake at sunset were awesome. We will be dining here again.
