Taco Bell

Beware of "corporate policy"!! This place routinely has 50% of it's stalls "Out of Order". They took their Christmas tree down sometime in September, or October. We usually go through the drive through, on the way from the Northwoods to southeastern WI. When the restaurant door is open, I use the Ladies room. Last week, we ordered a chicken burrito supreme, and got no chicken. Since we pass through on most weeks, we set aside the receipt, and figured that we would straighten it out with them this week. Today, I went inside to order our lunch, and get last week's order corrected. I was promptly told by cashier that I was supposed to have called in within 48 hours, or nothing can be done. I told her that all I wanted was a replacement burrito, or if she preferred, to get my money back. I also asked where I could find this policy, after she just kept repeating the words over and over. She got her manager. He restated the supposed "policy", while the cashier yelled from behind the food machinery on the other side of the kitchen that I only had "48 hours" to call in. I asked why that policy wasn't posted at the register, or on the receipt...no answer. I left the franchise, and we had a wonderful lunch at Taco 🌮 John's, which will now be our usual Mexican food stop.

Usually the service is excellent here but I came through at a very busy time. Had to wait to take my order, which I was okay with. However, after receiving my order, I noticed they put ice in my soda when I asked them not to, I also asked for no tomatoes and those were on my order as well. The staff is always very friendly though, no issues there. Most days, they're on point.

I ordered a cheesy bean & rice burrito, the rice was hard and not cooked.. it was also half the size of any other one I’ve had. I also ordered a crispy potato soft taco, it was all tortilla. A couple pieces of potato, and the pieces were burnt. The drive thru people were nice, but the food was really gross.

The food wasn't terrible but definitely could've been better.. before we could even get to register to order our food, we could hear a female yelling inappropriate things in the back. Seemed like a lot of loud drama that customers shouldn't have to listen to when trying to enjoy a sit down meal. On the plus side, we were given free slushies for other inconveniences..
