Hardee's

Today I went to Hardee's for the first time. The staff was very rude and didn't get my order (2 burgers) right. The person serving me complained that I was there too early for lunch (I arrived there at 10:35 am, the website says that lunch starts at 10:30 am). He was very angry with me, didn't say Hello or Good Bye. When I got home I noticed that one of the burgers was burned. I will never ever go there again.

I stopped here, just recently looking for a good place for lunch. As their drive-thru wasn't busy, I thought I would give it a chance. Not only did I know what to order, but it actually took a few extra minutes to get my order. What I liked was the friendliness, and how fresh my order tasted. After I got my food, the drive-thru was just starting to get busy. What I liked was that my Big Hardee and fries not only looked appetizing, but also fresh as well. It would be so good to go back, even if it is only the drive-thru like last time.

Not only is this "fast food" place slower than a sloth traipsing through peanut butter, they are very skimpy and didn't get the order right. I ordered a ham croissant with no egg, a bacon egg croissant and a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. We placed our order at 9:05 and received it at 9:25 am. Instead of the ham croissant, we got a sausage egg croissant. Had to go back up there to get the ham croissant. The hashbrowns were cold. There were two hot and fresh items off the entire order: the biscuit and gravy (which was delicious) and the ham croissant (after my husband went back to the counter to get it since they gave us the wrong one). As you can see from the pictures, they are very skimpy with the ham and the bacon. We could have had Golden Corral breakfast buffet for the same price we paid for this. It's less than $10/person. Update 11/13. The manager ended up giving us two free meal vouchers. We went back for dinner and had a completely different experience. It was a different crew and even though we were the only customers in the lobby, the food was hot, fresh and delicious. While they may skimp on their breakfast meat, they are more than generous with their burgers. Each patty is 1/3 lb. My husband got the Monster burger with bacon and added a 3rd patty (I couldn't even fit the whole thing in my mouth) and I got a mushroom swiss. Both were delicious. He got the natural cut fries and I got the curlies. They were both cooked to perfection.
