Serum's Good Time Emporium

Three of us stopped in for lunch. I had never been here before. Loved the antique decor, original woodwork, and brass rails! Real nostalgic feel too. The Lunch Special of a salad and six wings is an excellent idea. Being diabetic, I didn't need to bother with exchanging fries or other carbs. Salads were more than adequate with a nice topping of bacon and a very good blue cheese dressing. The Chernobyl Wings did indeed live up to their name. Close to meltdown! My Garlicilada were a very tasty garlic and a much lower spiciness. Wings were perfectly fried and crispy. Potato Soup looked delicious with extra touches of bacon and cheese toppings. Was a great lunch! Will definitely return to experience more of the menu.

$23.40 garlic & hot wings ⭐️⭐️ for flavor & $8.99 shrimp skewers with rice ⭐️⭐️ eh. I’ve been hearing such amazing things about Serums & I finally got to try it. I wasn’t impressed. Upon seating ourselves, it took a hot minute for the female server to greet us. We sat in the booth right by the door; she walked past multiple times greeting & taking orders from her other three tables. She took orders from tables who arrived after us & never acknowledged us after the first time she stopped by. She said she’d be back & never came back. Instead, like I said, we watched as she greeted & conversed with other tables & took their orders. We decided to walk away from her & headed upstairs & it still took us a hot minute to get greeted. Brent eventually came by & he provided good service. As good of service as one could get at a bar. The food is mediocre bar food, certainly not all the hype that I’ve been getting. The wings were dry & the hot wings weren’t even hot. The house made bleu cheese is as disappointing as the first server we had. & the extra crispy flats? Soggy & not even crisp. Each dish gets two stars, but that’s being generous. The wings we make at home are so much better.

They have wonderful chicken wings. There’s a sample platter you could get for $34 and have the option to choose up to 5 sauces. If you don’t mind boneless wings, it might be cheaper to get boneless. 8 boneless chicken wings were $9.99 (choose up to 2 sauces) and 16 for $~17 (choose up to 4 sauces). Their tater tots are also good. Cheese curds came with marinara sauce and ranch.

Very interesting place! Came here to meet some friends for a Hollywood Blvd performance. The live music and dancing was fun! Drink service was really fast and inexpensive. Probably one of the least sanitary places I've visited in the area, but it was still a good time. Just expect the bottom of your shoes to be sticky when you get home.

We have heard tons of good things about their wings so we made the trip out. Queso dip came out quickly and was very good. They wings were definitely good! The Thai wings were very peanut buttery, would probably be the only complaint. The other flavors were very good, especially the ginger wings. Service was wonderful and the waitresses were fun to interact with. We would definitely be back if we are in the area.

Owned by just the greatest Anoka couple you can find. Gary and Lori Serum, If you want the best wings north of the metro and a fun place to have a cold beverage and hangout, don't miss out out stopping by this hidden gem. You will have to most likely park in the parking ramp so expect that but it's a 1 min walk to get inside. Also they have a fun patio during our Minnesota season. See u there.😊

Went to get a final wedding dress fitting and the lady at reception recommended this place. Hands down great wings! Great small town vibe, shortly after we arrived after opening the place started to fill up quickly. Waitress was on top of her game, but was the only person tending too all the tables. Great costumer service and excellent food. Homemade ranch was delicious.

Clean dining area and bathrooms. Although busy, we were greeted right away, got drinks right away as well as our order taken and food arrived hot and promptly and all 4 orders at the same time. We were checked up on shortly after. Drinks refilled. Plates taken, check arrived and payment was taken. Wait staff were courteous and friendly. Delicious food and good portion sizes. Prices anyone can afford, appetizer dish with a side of fries filled me up. Lots of Midwestern specialty plates.
