Denny's

I took my 5 year old daughter here for a late lunch date after more X-rays for her broken arm. The server was obviously new and had not received much training. My daughter asked for chocolate milk. She got a very watery hot chocolate instead. She ordered the kids create your own grand slam and asked for an over easy egg. When the server was inputting our order, he came back over and said they don’t do over easy eggs - it’s not an option. They only do scrambled, scrambled with cheese, over medium or over hard 🤔. We also asked for toast which we never received. By the time we got the check, it was after 4 and kids eat free on Tuesdays after 4! I asked about it when we went up to pay (same server checked us out). He said he didn’t know how that worked. He went to ask who I’m guessing was the manager. She was sitting at a table with another lady. It could’ve been an interview I suppose. Either way, she just waved him off and said (in an annoyed voice) “that’s only after 4.” Well it was after 4. I said this to the server. He just glanced over at the manager and said “I’m sorry, I’m new. I really don’t know.” So I didn’t push it, just paid. Overall not a very good experience and I felt bad for the server because he obviously had no clue what he was doing and the manager wasn’t offering him any help at all. He also seemed nervous/scared to ask for help. I gave it 2 stars instead 1 just because the food wasn’t bad.

Absolutely had a horrible time. Things were not good from the moment we walked in the door until the food was placed on the table and looked as such the server never once stated that there were no fresh fruit for on top of our $13 meals which we only got because of the fruit, However Jane the store manager handled the whole situation beautifully. Our entire check was competed. Servers complain they do not get tipped and that people do them dirty well when you act like you don't want to be there in the 1st place what do you expect you will get what you give. And the server was still tipped because as a spouse to a server That is good It is upsetting That the bad ones ruin it for the good ones

The first time we went here, it was wonderful. Everything was good. The second time, not so good. The breakfast was not bad tasting at all. As a matter of fact, it was good. However, it was room temperature apparently sat in the window too long. Our waitress was third world and pretty much indifferent. Basically, a very lack luster experience. I have had hotter breakfast at Mcdonalds.

Our server was great. Our food was disgusting. We love Denny's, so this was a huge disappointment. The grease was dripping off my daughter's burger and my omelette was cold and did not taste good at all. When I said something to the manager all she did was look at me and say I'm sorry with no heartfelt emotion. Driving to Glen Burnie will be worth it.
