This place was super cute! We had a girl's day out with afternoon tea. We were able to each pick out one tea to try and then we got a whole pot of that tea to ourselves. We were served two platters with an array of treats. Bottom was scones with cream and jam, middle was sandwiches and savories, top was sweets/desserts. Everyone got one of each item to try. I don't think there was a single thing I didn't like. Everything was unique and really tasty. We loved the atmosphere of the place and the experience was a lot of fun. The only reason I knocked off a star is because the server seemed a little unhappy to be there. Might not necessarily have been her intention but it did dampen the mood a little bit. Overall though we would definitely come back for tea but we'd also like to try the regular food and even the pub one of these days.

Very cool place with a cool history too! We were just wandering around Annapolis and popping in various places, so only grabbed a couple drinks here. The inside is beautiful, and feels very old and traditional. I love it. They also have a large beautiful patio area, which is where we sat. The patio has its own bathrooms and bar as well. It would be a great date night or work party location. They also have an Inn upstairs - but didn't investigate that. All told, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

This is a wonderful historic gem. We chose the colonial high tea, which is an afternoon tea with the addition of a soup, salad or quiche. All the food was wonderful! They have some tea blends I’ve never seen at other tea shops. The setting was very relaxed and there was no pressure for us to leave. We had a fantastic afternoon. I’d definitely return for tea, but I’m planning to come stay at their B & B too.

My husband and I went to try the afternoon tea experience. We had heard good things about it from a friend and wanted to try it ourselves. It was a fantastic time! We both got the Queen Anne's tea spread. It came with a starter of a light and delicious cheese plate and a glass of wine. We both got a pot of tea of our choice. The scones with cream were amazing! We also got a great sandwhich spread with several savory tarts. The little pastries and tea cakes served with the last course were so good and although I could not finish my portion I tried a bite of several and they were delicious as well Will definitely go back. 10/10.

This is an excellent find in downtown Annapolis. We went today for afternoon tea and we were blown away by the experience. The tea selection had many options from standard teas to very creative blends. My favorite was Lili'uokalani which was a black tea with tropical fruit forward flavor. We shared a cheese plate to start the experience and all were delicious. The cream of crab soup was exceptional but the quiche Loraine was the best slice of quiche I have ever had. It was creamy like a cheesecake! The afternoon tea included the most food I have had at a tea house. They served a small scone, 6 tea sandwiches, and 6 desserts!

Outdoor courtyard dining was excellent. Service and food delicious. Vegetarian wife and I shared the stuffed eggplant appetizer (pic). We both loved it. Live music was a solo performer and was an appropriate volume, not blasting you like some places. The best dish was the Scallop & Shrimp Risotto (pic). Two of us got it and were blown away. Tho the other person thought it was a bit small for an entree. But it left room for dessert. Buddy liked his Fish & Chips (pic). Wife was bored with the vegie wrap (pic). Had to deduct a star, as we had to wait ten minutes then face an inquisition by the manager who did not want to allow my handicap friend's service dog. After viewing the proper registration and tags, it's illegal for a business to ask what handicap/service the dog addresses, but he asked us anyway. Thought about skipping the place altogether, but that would have let the jerk ruin our plans.

Attended high tea with the family. Great experience! Tea selection was good and the food was great. We all felt fairly full afterwards but not uncomfortable. Very worth the (not too high) price. Highly recommend the cream of crab soup!

Fun very old basement Tavern. Great atmosphere! Super friendly staff! Great drinks! We had dinner there. Food was Not very good. We went back the next day to have high tea on the upper floor. The atmosphere was fun and the staff was friendly. Again, the food was not great! The only thing that was good was the crab soup and house salad. I wouldn't bother with the scones or tea sandwiches. Certainly not worth the money. In fact, worst food I have had at a tea place ever! Go there for drinks as the atmosphere is fun, but skip the food!
