Always fresh delicious food and great service. Noticed that they hired more help which made the service faster and the food came hot off the grill. We been here several times now and never been disappointed with the crab cakes Mum Mum good !
Awesome place, great food and excellent staff. We will definitely be back!!
The waitress was great. Very attentive. The food was good but not great. We got a variety of plates. The best one was the appetizer called Annapolis fries with crab dip and cheese on them. The burger is not served with fries as most joints provide. You have to order them as extra. The steak and cheese sub needed something to add to its taste so I got some lettuce and tomato from our quesadilla and added to the sub. There was no mayo or mustard on the table. Only ketchup. I will try other joints when back in Annapolis. There is plenty to choose from fortunately.
This place was BUSY on the Saturday afternoon that I visited. It has the feel of a diner that's packed into a small space and typical of the best diners is the food. I got the (gigantic) crab cake sandwich and it was massively delicious. That sandwich made up for all the crabs that I missed eating in 2020 and 2021. Don't bother with the cocktail sauce--you won't even need it because the crab cake is so good.
Great local deli in downtown Annapolis. I ordered the Reuben with Swiss and sauerkraut and it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had and a good deal. The rye was well toasted and the cheese was melty. My mom got the legendary crab cakes, which I also enjoyed even though I’m not a big seafood eater. The crab cakes were huge and had a generous amount of crab. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend stopping here for a day trip!
I went there three times now: each once for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I can’t express enough how appetising the food is and affordable the pricing compared to other restaurants around the dock. They come in big dishes so get prepared. The entrance is small but has roomful dining areas in two floors. I recommend go lunch or dinner, can’t tell which dish is best because every food I ordered was wonderful. The menu are either named after people or locations which I find it interesting. Try the iconic crab cake and milkshake! They give you more milkshake than you order, for me, they gave me a full glass of milkshake and another milkshake cup telling me there wasn’t enough space to fill in one cup! Breakfast (pictured) was okay but a little dry, $13.99. Just buy a proper meal with that money. Waiter service depends on the person but generally friendly and checks on you every moment which is super sweet.
This place is packed! People loves here. My husband and I visited Annapolis and we found some recommendations to try this place. The serving is more than good enough for your stomach to fill-up. I ordered the crab and cheese omelette and he got the chicken and waffle, both are so filling! Recommended place to visit when you stop by Annapolis City.
Definitely a popular, busy place. Wait staff was excellent. The chef salad was edible, but nothing to write about (yet here I am, writing about it)
The sandwiches were all named after judges/govt officials. I seriously considered the Clarance Thomas (I think) - a grilled cheese with bacon, lettuce, and tomato on rye.
I saw other people eating various sandwiches, and the did look pretty good - if I ever go back (I'm not in Annapolis real often), I'll try a sandwich.
They also have a case full of good-looking donuts, cakes, etc. I didn't try one, so I can't comment - other than the ape fritter was as big as my head and looked pretty good.
An American Classic. One of the most fun restaurants you can visit. Order anything with crab and you won’t be disappointed. Atmosphere is great. Service is great. Prices are amazing value. Worth traveling for a visit.
