No place in Ann Arbor has a comparable selection of spices. This is by far my favorite place to get quality ingredients for my cooking. They also have a good selection of hot sauces, kitchen tools and teas.

Surprised to see artificial flavors on the list of ingredients for some of their teas, and the teas that were not artificially flavored didn’t taste very good. Spices were fine, I would just suggest avoiding the tea section. Arbor Teas has great teas and they’re sold all around the city and online (I’m not affiliated with Arbor Teas 😅)

It was deathly quiet inside. The employee was very nice and offered a sample of tea. I was intrigued by a stand of Mexican chocolates, but those were unreasonably expensive, even for Ann Arbor standards. I'm not knowledgeable enough to say how the spice prices were, but the selection seemed to be all you need.

This store had a lot of unique spices that I have either never even heard of(and not because I'm a bad cook)! The teapot selection is also very nice.
