Service is great, food selection is great, and i have experienced catering by them.. great
My first dinner here last night was a tasty experience. We have good fun with the staff. It is a family atmosphere. I would recommend anyone to enjoy the cuisine for themselves. Even the toughest food critic, my wife, gave it a two thumbs up!
Great food at reasonable prices. Luis was extremely friendly and inviting, spent time speaking with us in Spanish and English describing the foods and the restaurant's background and history. Menu items that are not found in typical Mexican restaurants are found here. All homemade, with that specific-to-a-region flavor, and definitely not generic. Everything made-to-order, and worth the visit. My first time but definitely a must return spot, as I live just down the street.
Ambience, service and food: AMAZING!! Huge portion sizes and very affordable ! I love this restaurant. So excited to try the ice cream with churros next time
Very good authentic Mexican food. Not Americanized like Los Amigos or the few other chain or franchised restaurants in the area that all serve the same food from the same menu.
Great seafood dishes done right. Everything has an excellent flavor and does not need a lot of salsa and other condiments to make it go down the old gullet.
The restaurant is in a strip mall and is a very basic with colorful but minimal decor. Very basic seating and dinnerware.
The service is excellent, family owned and run by the sweetest guys you would ever want to meet. Take some time to chat with them and you will discover that this food is lovingly prepared from recipes given to them by mom and other family members and it shows!
Dining in is better than take out and worth the time.
This place is awesome. They serve the whole menu at all times of day do you can get every style of Mexican you're into. A great deal of the actual serving dishes were imported from a family restaurant in Mexico, lending a homey feeling to a little burrito joint in a strip mall. The owners are super friendly. We took little kids, made a mess, and had a great meal while feeling right at home.
“The food was excellent”
Had a lovely dinner at Pacific rim this past weekend and was impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. Our party had four different entrees, each beautifully prepared and delicious. The wine selection was rather modest for a restaurant of this quality, but the prices were reasonable. Service was very good but we did take issue with their...
Very tasty and authentic recipes. The staff was friendly and happy to help. Restaurant is casual with some booths and some tables. They piped in traditional Mexican polka music when we were there, but it wasn't too loud and we found it easy to talk.
Wonderful flavors, super fresh and healthy prep (lots of veggies, minimal frying, homemade tortillas), generous portions, low prices. Plus central location and free parking! Locals know this place is one of Ann Arbors best restaurants.
Pricey but go for special occasions! Worth it in quality of food, service and ambiance! Restaurant is an old train station converted into an elegant experience! Great wine should be enjoyed with great friends! I hear the Sunday brunch is fantastic but ALWAYS make reservations!
