I had the 1/4 lb sliced brisket, green beans, slaw, and collards. Everything was very good. I may skip the slaw next time. Everything seemed to have a black pepper kick on the back end but was done tastefully. I could not eat it all. I also tried one of my wife's hushpuppies and it was also good. I'll absolutely return.

As I travel the country I'm always open to finding a Hidden Gem, especially if it involves BBQ. Their is potential with this place, but they are still missing the mark. The meat was smoked well but could be paired with better sauces and sides. The green beans were a delightful surprise. The best thing I can say about that atmosphere, is the yelling from the trailer park across the street was kept to a minimum.

Friendly staff and amazing food. Great size portions with fair price.
Ordered 2 meat dish for 13.99 and couldn't finish it.
Had to sit outside due to air condition was set to max, I guess. I think this place be great for small party also

Great service, great food! Southern comfort food and BBQ done right. The green beans were cooked perfectly and the pulled chicken sandwich was great. Sauce was delicious as well. There was a bone in the pulled chicken, but hey, it happens. Atmosphere was a little awkward and quiet- they could stand to have a TV or some music playing, but other than that it was awesome.

Very good bbq everytime. A little hint of pepper and very smokey, It's so good meat that I eat it without any sauce at all.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!
I've never tasted Texas BBQ like this. This so called bbq was dry and tasteless. The ribs had absolutely no flavor. The brisket, pulled pork, and mac and cheese were all dry. The collard greens were so bitter, I had to spit them out. I felt like i was eating left overs from the beginning of the week. And who puts sugar on fried okra...gross! The only positives on my plate was the sauce and toast. So disappointed!

First timer. I had the 1/4 lb Brisket, one slice of Texas toast and a side of cole slaw. The brisket wasn't too smokey, it was VERY tender and moist. If I lived in the area, I would eat there at least twice a week. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic food. Nice cozy place, you can tell they put care in their food and high quality of ingredients. Meat was fantastic, loved their BBQ sauce, and the bun of my sandwich melted in my mouth. Will be back!
