Sonic Drive-in

Stopped by here because we felt like having some hot, crispy fries. Unfortunately they were neither hot or crispy. They were just warm, light colored, wilted fries. Definitely didn't satisfy the craving. The only save was that we also got a pretzel twist with cheese dip which was pretty good. Nice and hot, with just the right amount of salt. I'd go back for one of those for sure. (Worth the price, just under $2)

I went to Sonic in Anderson, CA to buy 4 Sonic Blast shakes and they charged me more then what the price was. I let Heather the cashier know that that's not the correct price order and she checked and said "oh Are you the ones that order the meals?" I said "no we ordered 4 shakes" and she said "I already swiped your card, and cannot refund the money" I then told her "can you please just return the difference" and she said she will check with manager. She came back and said that her manager (a woman) said to void it and swipe it again for the correct amount. I told her you should of let me know before you swiped my card again because my plan was to order some thing else to cover that price. Now my rent will be paid late because they cannot refund my money back till after the 6 days.

Sonic Drive-in is practically my religion at this point. I frequently get the sauced popcorn chicken because it's a good serving size for a delicious meal. Sonic doesn't necessarily excel at actual food, many of its claims to fame rest on the drinks or shakes menus. The sauced popcorn chicken with a Chicago dog and a frozen lemonade is my personal recommendation.

A little slow, and everything is breaded or fried, which I know "fast food" but I am gluten free so there is only a handful of fast food items I can eat anyway. But most places will do a lettuce wrap burger, or something, and they would NOT alter any of the menu items. I even requested a hot dog just in the cardboard boat with no bun, and they would not do it.
