I have been here twice and really enjoyed the food. It is not a standard Mexican Restaurant! It is a la carte, the menu is in Spanish (with English translations) and they have no hard corn shells. What they do have is authentic Mexican food prepared and served in the way that someone from Mexico would expect. The food is excellent the choices numerous and the service wonderful. Well the restaurant itself is shares space with a gas station and the decor is nothing special the food more than makes up for it. This family run restaurant supports local youth soccer and local sports teams. Mi Taco 🌮 is Moi Bueno!

Authentic and tasty. Located in the same building as the Exxon gas station, but they deserve a better location! (Poor signage due to circumstances beyond the restaurant’s control. Just park around the gas station.) The molé is nice, as are the blue corn quesadillas, and they use real Mexican cheese, like queso fresco, not “Mexican” cheese.

As others have said, this is the real deal. Everything is made fresh and they will accommodate special requests to alter the menu ingrediants to your liking. It is family owned and operated and they are serious about treating you as honored guests. If you're tired of Tex-Mex, this is the place to go.

I love authentic Mexican cuisine. This is as close as you can get to it. Very clean inside, with friendly staff. I've been three times, and I have not been disappointed.

Excellent Chimichanga! They crafted it to my specifications, and it was exactly like I ordered. Most other Mexican restaurants kinda, sorta get it rightish.... The best thing is the pre order appetizer isn't tortilla chips and salsa.... I'll let them surprise you. I enjoyed the hell out of them. I'll be back!

Authentic Mexican food, conveniently located (for me) outside the Clemson University Research Park. I highly recommend the gorditas and the barbacoa.
If you are heading up I-85 or visiting the local goat farm, avoid the crowds and mediocre chain restaurants at Exit 19 and head to Mi Taco instead. You will be glad you did.
