Yesterday my sister and I called in a pickup order for a coconut custard pie and got it only 15 mins before closing. (Sorry!) however the owner was very nice and accommodating to our last minute craving and was very nice at pick up. I didn’t even get a picture of the pie because between me, my sister, and my husband, the pie was gone before the thought even crossed my mind. It was so good!! We didn’t stay to eat, but the atmosphere in the store seemed very friendly and gave that feeling of a friendly small town shop that I’ve missed since leaving my home town. I’ll definitely be bringing my family every time they visit from now on.

This place is a gem! I have had their lunch specials and all of them are so hearty/delicious. Their pasties are my favorite. They have changed a lot in the years that they have been open (for the good). I had a not so great pie once (years ago) and the crust they got now are definitely not from the same butter :) If you haven’t visited, do. If you had a bad exp., try again. Call to see if they have pasties (they are on certain days)

Really kind owner and amazing pies! I originally bought two small pies and after tasting one in the car I turned around and bought two more. The owner was lovely to chat with and I will definitely be back for more pies in the future.

This place is amazing. Thursdays are Mexican pot pie day. I can't tell you how good these are. I dream of them. And the triple berry pie oh lord there are none better. If you are in the mood for pie come here. You won't be disappointed.

This isn't just a pie stop, this is THE pie stop. There were some pies there. They were delicious! Absolutely amazing. There was no cake because cake is gross. All hail pie and rejoice!

A Pie Stop is locally owned, they bake fresh each day, everything is unbelievably tasty...so why am I alone here? The rent is $4000 a month, doesn’t include utilities, that’s a lot of pies. Time for everyone to become a customer at this grandfather/granddaughter operation. Steve bought the bakery for Alisa when she graduated from the Anchorage School District’s King Career Center Culinary School a few years ago. Steve said he knew Alisa was passionate about baking since she was 4 and helped he and his wife when they ran the Chokecherry Inn in Fairbanks. She was also a regular at UAA’s summer Culinary Camp program. All her training amply readied her for this business venture. A Pie Stop rotates 27 varieties of pies, savory/cream/fruit, 6 days a week and offer local tea and coffee from Indigo and Caffe D’arte. Everything here is made with love and the aroma alone is worth the trip. They donate often to school auctions and nonprofit events and the great word of mouth about this place is spreading. But after four years building the business under the current ownership, with Steve pretty much volunteering, they would appreciate your patronage!

We stop at Korean restaurants and my husband want to have a piece of Coconut cream pie but the small one. They didn't have one on shelf, so we got the fresh one in 10 mins!!! I just think they are so nice to doing that for us.

This place looked like a small shop from the outside... but inside it's a cozy, inviting place, with comfortable seats and yellow walls- very warm and inviting! I had the strawberry rhubarb pie, the perfect combination of sweet and tangy! Highly recommended!
