My family and I had an excellent experience today with the breakfast this morning. Great food selection (try the banana foster pancakes, trust me you won’t be sorry). The restaurant was clean and all staff was super friendly. Shoutout to our waitress Morgan and the restaurant manager Kelly.

Had the salmon with pecan and berries salad, and that was amazing! The cod fish and chips were a bit oily, and the chips serving too large. Good service. Not too expensive (well, I'm from NYC). Two of us got a booth to ourselves for a Sunday lunch in the Alaskan August. Very convenient for people taking a cruise/tour from the Westmark hotel.

Like the other reviewers said, we were spillover from places across the street that were too busy, but we ended up with a great dinner experience. Come during happy hour. Have several half price appetizers. Get the discounted draft local draft beers. Skip the entrees. Have dessert. Fabulous. We had the spinach dip, the steamed clams, and the shrimp skewers, and the "profiterole" ice cream stuffed pastry for dessert (split one, which was plenty for two). The waitress was cool and attentive. Brought some really good rolls on request (they don't normally come with appetizers). The entrees looked fine but we didn't try them. Seeing other tables though, the fish & chips looked great, and most of the portions looked huge.

My husband had the steak and I had the salmon. The steak was ordered rare and came out well. The salmon was pretty dry. The salmon chowder, however, was on point. I could eat that chowder all day. Overall, not worth it for the price. Go have some chowder and then eat somewhere else.

We stayed at the westmark for a couple nights and ate here a couple times. We tried fish and chips, cheese steaks, and burgers. The beef tasted bad and the fish was really fishy. The breakfast was lacking flavor and texture. I would not eat here again.

Good location inside the hotel which I stayed at. The service was too slow and I felt most of my morning in ANC didn't need to be waiting for my eggs. Food was decent but the orders were mixed up with our large party visiting the WestMark Hotel. The line was long and the next day I opted for a faster breakfast at the lil take out the restaurant offers. Coffee is good and it's on the Starbucks style of service.
