Pastries and food here are the best. the eggs are always perfectly fluffy and delicious. Service is always excellent. Our favorites are the tuna a la Erica, breakfast burrito, and every pastry.
Thanks Erica and David!!

Omgggg my bf and I absolutely LOVE this place! Their lunch specials are awesome & the food is always amazing, fresh and delicious! Everything here is made in house from scratch, so don’t expect instantaneous junk food. Great food takes time people. The desserts are so tasty as well! The couple that owns this place is the literally the sweetest, and they clearly love what they do. Make sure you give this gem of a restaurant a try because if you don’t, you’re missing out big time.

Good. GRAVY. LIT Cafe OC’s pastries are mind-boggingly delicious, creative, gourmet, fun, and innovative! My friends and I were blown away by the very first bite—no kidding. Thank You Coffee in Anaheim (another must-visit spot) features some of LIT’s baked goods in their store, and sitting there w my TYC coffee and LIT pastries felt like a little slice of heaven.

I travel to California several times a month. I’m bummed I just now found this place. It’s a hidden gem. Food was absolutely amazing (had the breakfast burrito and cookie). Mao was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Excited to make this a regular stop every time I come to town!

Last time I came here they had the chilaquiles, that was my go to. They reduced their menu and have it in the front where the cashier is. Their wonderful pastries are always fresh and baked in house. They do have some of the usuals. I would recommend going for those items, especially the croissants. From that section, the items chosen were the strawberry croissant, matcha canelé (they also have the regular version as well), hazelnut brioche, and chocolate chip cookie. Normally canelé’s can be burnt but this place does it right. All of them were fantastic, cookies soft on the inside and has that bit of crunch on the outside. The strawberry croissant was a small open faced pastry and you could tell it was made from scratch. The hazelnut brioche reminded me of a fancier doughnut, flavor wise. It had a slight tangy custard in the middle with the pieces of hazelnut feuilletine on top. I am curious about their coffee brioche as I wanted to try all their pastries. Since I had to divert from the delicious chilaquiles, I decided to try their lit cafe loco moco. My friend had ordered the combo remix. The combo remix had pieces of brioche “French toast” sticks with some sausages, eggs, and a crispy thin layer of hash browns. They give you a side of maple syrup to bring it al together. I really liked the hash browns from that dish, crunchy, crispy, and light. Now, the lit loco moco was lit. Overall the hamburger underneath with that gravy was really great, both made it a combo killer. The burger underneath was juicy and oozed with flavor. The gravy was light but flavored just right, clean and smooth unlike other places that use rue for their sauces. The potato salad was light and not too strong and the pickle was definitely not as a strong typical dill pickle but homemade in all its aspect. It definitely all worked well on top of that rice. The dish wasn’t heavy like a typical loco moco. Everything was great but I’d come back just for that.

One of the kindest/best cafes I’ve ever been to. They have a DELICIOUS tuna melt, loco moco, pesto sandwiches. We are always greeted with kindness, the manager recognizes us and is always extra kind and gave me a free coffee this morning :) I brought my friends/family here and they are always impressed. A meal here will run you $10 whereas a meal at McDonald’s will be $15 for a Big Mac coke and fries. Lite cafe is healthier, actually cooked rather than warmed up, it’s affordable, they have plenty of options. I’m happy we found this place ☺️

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The owners are husband and wife who are also the Head Chef & Pastry Chef of the restaurant. The passion they put in really comes out in the food they serve.
Being a small family run business that pours their heart & soul into the food they serve, me & my family are always happy to support them (& eat amazing food in the process).
We have been coming here since they opened a couple years ago. My first dish I've had (& still my favorite) would have to be the Chilaquiles. My favorite pastry are Chef Erica's Canale. Do you know what a canale is? Do you know how HARD it is to make a good canale? Welp, google it & them come try one at Lit Cafe.

Delicious katsu and kimchi fried rice. Onion rings were a bit overcooked. Loco Moco meat patty was excellent.
