If you enjoy live music this is the place, There's a charge of $15 dollars before you enter...so be ready... food was really good, I ordered gallo pinto which is beans and rice ...but they have other options too...they also have different brands of beers and cocktails...small place with a nice atmosphere... Plenty of parking...
🇨🇷 COSTA RICA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - A couple wall-mounted surfboard advertisements for Cerveza Imperial combine with Costa Rican flags on just about every surface to show off the pride of the place. The restaurant and the people that run it take their job as a community hub very seriously, and customers all appreciate this very much. On any given night, it seems like everyone that comes for a drink or a meal is one big family and know each other well.
The tamales are exactly what Costa Rican tamales are suppose to be like!
1000% a roaring Latin night club with a $12 cover.
I love this place for a couple reasons.
one: I know some of the staff, manger, and customers and all of them are nice and welcoming.
Two: the food and drinks are good.
Three: this is also the place that i used to grow up b/c my mother works there as a chef and bar server (she still works there).
Four: they have their own band that plays on stage.
The only problem is the music, Its sooo loud that you can hear from outside.
I went there for dance and drinks. My first time with two friends who frequent the night club. The mixed drinks where perfectly severed, not watered down, in perfect size glass, and just the right balance of ice to alcohol ratio. Priced reasonably.
The band played good music and the DJ kept the dancers on the floor between sets. The age group was bewteen 35 and 55. Plenty of seating and air conditioning. Enough room on the dance floor for all.
This visit was my second time coming to Costa Rica Restaurant. I've ordered Fish Taco plate for dinner and margarita on the rocks for drink. The fish tacos were big and filling. The margarita was stiff, just the way I like it. It was great experience. I'll be back for karaoke next time.
Beautiful little place home away from home💖 and always doing something to help other 🙏
We were staying at the Tropicana suites a few doors down. I had read a few reviews for the Pizza Press & they were good so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. We ended up eating here a few times during our Disney visit. Great food, great value.
This a small but bustling local Costa Rican restaurant and night club, my visit was on a Saturday, there is $10 entrance fee, if you get there early tables are available, there is plenty of room at the bar. There was a live band, and rythmic recorded music. Mainly, cumbia, merengue, salsa, bachata and such.
The atmosphere get's better with the crowd buildup and the dance floor full.
Good and friendly staff and dancing environment.
For food, I wouldn't necessarily go there. I go for the dancing. It's a place where you see an older generation dance Latin music. They play a lot of older music (salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata, etc.), so if you're into the latest and don't dig the older stuff, this place may not be for you. I've gone tho this placefor many years, and it hasn't changed. You see many of the same folks every time. I feel a bit safer here than a regular club, though. It's a $10 cover. Try to get there early enough (10ish), and you shouldn't have an issue with parking.
