I highly recommend Adya in Anaheim, CA for catered events. The food was excellent, even better than the restaurant. The service and setup were professional, and the menu was customizable.
Adya is my wife’s and my go to Indian spot for any special occasion. We absolutely adore the food, but almost singly purchase the same dish every time: the daal makhani thali will garlic naan. This is our favorite dish in all the world…and my wife is from India! So you know it is not only authentic but deliciously prepared. Chopped winner and co-owner Shachi Mehra knows what she is cooking.
Portion size is on the small side. You pay $10+ per dish and this is all you get. Wish the portion size was more. Flavor of Chicken Masala is there.
Nice and small place to get polished Indian food. The good was quite flavorful with many options in the way. The food portions were good for the price. Ordered some indo Chinese food such as cauliflower Manchurian with rice and two chicken dish combos. Would recommend it to all.
Pretty good spot. Food is made to order to expect to wait. They give you a buzz pager, but I don't know the range so it's best to stay relatively close. I got a drink at Hammer Bar, and it worked from there.
For is DELICIOUS. I enjoyed every bite. Totally recommend this place, and I'll definitely come back. I always end up trying the same places when I'm in this building. Glad I ventured out and tried this one.
Loved the chana masala thali, gobi manchurian, and iced chai from ADYA. Kind staff, quick service, and reasonably priced compared to many Indian restaurants for a lunch thali, entree including rice, and chai to go - spent $40. Will be back to try more of the veg options on the menu :-)

Thw food was good chicken a bit spicy not really for children but I ate it 😋 it was good I liked it.
Outstanding Indian food with a huge emphasis on serving and turning up the FLAVOR. The Lamb Sloppy Joe sandwich, and the Veggie version are both excellent and a great way to start off a night of grazing and embibing at the Anaheim Packing District. Great price for the portion size.
I’ve only tried their chicken tikka masala combo that comes with naan, some kind of lentil soup, salad and a cucumber dipping sauce. I’m no Indian food expert at all, but I just really enjoyed the flavors of everything. The chicken was tender and the tikka sauce was yummy. The naan was fresh. Also got another order of garlic naan and that was really good too! I would definitely come back here! The lentil soup thingie was actually really tasty too.

Everything was super yummy! They had several items that could be made vegan, and I pretty much ordered all of them :) The gentleman working there was friendly and helped me pick out the best vegan dishes. I got a chickpea dish, a lentil dish, a coconut curry dish, some kind of roll, garlic naan, and some type of Indian white wine. We sat at a few of the tables just outside of their kitchen area. I love the Packing District and I'll probably eat at Adya again!
