The chicken was definitely not fresh. Old and greasy. The onion rings were over cooked and chewy. Not impressed.

Honestly it's a good atmosphere for locals. The crab burger is really tasty. Yet I'm not a fan of the rest of the menu. Most food is dry. I eaten here many times.

Got a roast beef poor boy dressed with French fries it wasn't bad for the amount of money. The only thing that could have been better was the roast beef to be sliced instead of shredded.

Found ourselves looking for breakfast while driving on I-55. Found this little place. What a pleasant surprise. Everything was made to order, hot, fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a quick breakfast, that won't break the bank, I highly recommend Master Chef! Bonus they serve Community Coffee. Saved this spot for future road trips. Hope to go back for lunch.

Order seafood combo, very, very bad small portions, 4 small piece of fish shrimp small as pop corn shrimp no batter no taste paid $17.99 plus tax for trash, save your self some time Skip this place. When I tried to complain the lady behind the counter care less if I could rate lower I would.

Food not that great. Ordered a roast beef poboy and a double burger. Had to eat the roost beef poboy with a fork and the burger was so dry. I feed the 2 patties to my 2 dogs. The old lady in the pick up window was more interested in watching the girl standing by the exit smoking. When I pulled up she seen that I was watching her. She said she was watching to make sure she does not try to get in the trucks with the men. Well the girl started walking rewards us and I responded with " you do not have to worry about that she is my daughter and she is not allowed to smoke in my truck." She tried to change her tune but she could see on my face I was not happy.

I like the fried chicken.. some days its seasoned so well then some days its not. Love the onion rings also.. The hamburger steak was good. I wished it had peppers and onions on it. My mom said the fried pork chop plate was good. The tea is DELICIOUS 😋, I always order two gallons to go.

Absolutely LOVED this place. It was amazing to finally find a place with REALLY good food. Everyone else seems to have down played or gotten rid of their seasonings all together, but not here. This place has Absolutely FABULOUS food and amazing people working for them. Definitely worth the trip to Amite and getting up before 1100.
