Best cakes in NH not only the artwork but the flavor and frosting is amazing light and not overly sweet ..
I would like to thank Stephanie (please forgive me, if spelling of the name is wrong)
, a magnificent pastry chef for her willingness to experiment with new recipes going out of her comfort zone to please an eccentric customer.
Thank you Dutch Epicure for continuous supplying, over 20 years, with highest quality European desserts. Always with gentlest of smiles and kindest service!
They made the cupcakes (and small cutting cake) for my wedding and I was OVERJOYED by the entire process of working with Dutch Epicure. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Our guests still talk about the cupcakes as a highlight of the day. They don't taste like every other bakery in the area, which is exactly what we wanted! (Highly recommend their 'funfetti' flavor) Thank you Dutch Epicure for your incredible talent and service.
Probably my favorite local bakery! I come by at least every week or two to grab a beautiful and delicious confection. Each one feels like a little piece of art crafted with love. I've never had an item here that wasn't exquisitely delicious! The staff is always friendly and lovely to chat with too. Highly recommend this awesome local shop ☺️💗
Bakery level: expert. I'm always blown away at how delicious everything I get here is. Today I tried the apple stuedel. The crust was thin, flaky, and buttery. So so good.
Easy to order for whatever sort of event, have choices to fit all sizes. Clean interior with nicely displayed goodies. Plenty of inside seating for a pastry and coffee. Friendly staff. And of course, the goodies speak for themselves.
Ordered the Sabayon cake for my husband's birthday. OMG! This was the most delicious cake ever. Super moist and not grossly sweet like so many other bakeries. My daughter who always gets carrot cake for her birthday wants this cake for her next birthday. My only complaint is that I should of ordered the 8 inch cake because I just want to eat this for days, that's how great it is. Stop in and try their pastries, you will not be disappointed.
This is a wonderful bakery I started going to this year. I've custom ordered a red velvet cake (all it takes is a quick call or stop in), came out wonderful. The breads are amazing - sourdough, white, honey wheat, cinnamon swirl, multigrain, oat (personal favorite!) - which they slice right when you order, though it's optional to not have it sliced. Mini cheesecake have a sugar cookie type bottom that's just the right amount of a crust. Hand pies are fantastic. You can set up a standing order to pickup as often as you like, haven't tried it though we did order for easter some cupcakes, challah bread, rolls...all of it was delicious and ready on time. Makes me feel ashamed for stopping at the other bakery nearby for so many years. Dutch Epicure has a wonderful mix of sweet (cakes, cookies, pies), savory (ham and cheese croissant, quiche), breads (sandwich, rolls), coffees... plus the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's been nice to stop digging around the bread isle in the grocery store for the freshest, and just get a loaf from Dutch Epicure that's freshly baked. It's worth it!
