Rancho Viejo

We went to try their new lunch buffet. Tuesday through Thursday 11:30 to 2:30, all you can eat for 9.99. It was amazing! The chili rellenos were the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The beans and rice were on point. The green enchiladas and the steak fajitas were excellent. They also had chicken dish with peppers that was quite good. You need to ask for tortillas, as they are not on the buffet. There is an array of toppings, like salsa, sour cream, guacamole, etc., on the buffet. They also have different desserts on the buffet. Drinks cost extra, but you do get free chips and salsa also! Great restaurant, always clean.

Wonderful atmosphere and family environment. Treat you like family and accommodate any request. All servers are amazing. Especially Brittany, Marisa, and Faith. The idea of Sammy provided amazing music while having cheap tacos and beer was genius. I will continue to bring people here and come every Friday.

So this is the first time my family and I have visited this restaurant, it was a great experience with great service. I would highly recommend the green enchiladas the chicken is tender moist and the flavor is wonderful. Now if I really had to comment on the service I would give it two thumbs up. Our waitress Stephanie was very attentive and very helpful in selection of menu items. Management and other staff were very friendly often coming to our table and asking if we needed anything, I am very impressed with the service here. My advice to any family is visiting Amarillo Texas definitely select this restaurant if you want authentic Mexican food that has great taste and a restaurant with great service.

The service was great but the food was sub par. The tacos tasted great but the chips and salsa was gross. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce and hot sauce mixed together. I asked for queso and it was literally and can of nacho cheese they put into a bowl and nuked it and served it to me for.... $6.50! It was gross. The bill was $20 for three tacos, a soda, and queso. Tell me how that makes sense.

I really loved their service and their food! ¡Allí sí es un restaurante Mexicano! Their staff is really friendly and attentive. Their food was delicious and filling. This is no ordinary restaurant. It feels like home! Im glad we found this amazing place! Im planning on coming here again when I travel to Amarillo!!!
