I don't normally like to give out five-star ratings but this place has the best breakfast I've had in a long long time the signs of the pancakes are incredible the food is really good the hash browns are really good the service was good and I've eaten at a lot of places as you can see and this was really a good place to go to I highly highly recommend this to anyone that wants to top here and have brunch

Wow, what a gem. Come hungry and come early. We were driving from Galveston and passing through Alvin, we Googled a breakfast place, and this was highly rated restaurant. Man and the people have spoken Red Oak Cafe is a great breakfast restaurant. The food tasted great, coffee was excellent the portions of the pancakes were huge. The pancakes took up the entire plate and you could pick items to add in. I suggest pecans and cinnamon sugar. But the table next to us had chocolate chips and cinnamon. And it smelled just as good. We came in for biscuts and gravy, and the jalapeño gravy was great. If your lucky, maybe you'll get Gabby as a waitress she was patient and explained the items on menu and made recommendations. Guess where I'm going to eat breakfast next time I'm driving by Alvin TX? Yup, Red Oak Cafe!

Love this place! Portions are large and atmosphere is wonderful! I usually go for breakfast and the BERTA is my go to. This restaurant has such a great vibe! Very easy to meet up with friends and have a conversation. The service is always friendly and attentive.

The service is outstanding (Tony). Unfortunately, our food wasn't hot, grits just enough to melt house-made butter but turkey sausage patties, hashbrowns & eggs were cool. The cheeses, white American & pepper jack had texture like cheese product. The pecan coffee & Tony's excellent service will bring us back!

The family went for breakfast, and we had no complaints. We have a,12 and a 13 year old and they actually shared a big breakfast. There was plenty of food. I had a breakfast quesadilla, it was really good and I could only eat half. My wife had scrambled eggs with her choice of ingredients. She also really enjoyed it, and also had leftovers. Great experience. With tip, our total was $63.

Finally gave them a try and they are definitely better than all the other breakfast joints around this area. The staff seemed a bit disorganized but they finally got it. Entrees: Huevos Rancheros - 8/10 Two corn tortillas, topped with black beans, two fried eggs and homemade salsa. Served with hand shredded hash browns or grits and your choice of country sausage, link sausage, turkey sausage or bacon. $9.95 *This dish was really good, great flavor and plenty of food. I had the hash browns and they were seasoned really well, just needed to be a bit crispier. Two-Egg Breakfast. 7/10 Two eggs, your way, your choice of hand shredded hash browns or grits, country sausage, link sausage, turkey sausage or bacon, and biscuit or white or wheat toast. $9.45 *Overall this was a decent dish, a typical breakfast plate. Had the biscuit and it came with sausage gravy, A nice touch that wasn't expected also had the grits which were ok, Pancakes 7/10 Served with whipped butter and syrup Short Stack (2) $5.95 *Had blueberries and strawberries added in, the pancakes were pretty good. Not the best I have had but the fruit was fresh and had warm syrup. They were really big so you are getting your money's worth with these. If you haven't been there, give them a try.

It was such a pleasant surprise to find such a fresh, cozy and modern place here in town. From the initial surprise in decor and lovely transition of the great staff and the wonderful food I conclude I can't just afford to go once to this wonderful place. The menu is very well thought of and very well executed and delivered.
