I stopped in for lunch after getting groceries. I was honestly surprised how good it was. Everything seemed fresh and not overcooked. The sauce was tasty and not overcomplicated overly sweet. Also these days if you can get a lunch and drink for $8 not bad at all. That's cheaper then a quarter pounder meal!

Been here twice and have no complaints. The food is what we been looking for for 27 years. Finally found good Chinese. Staff are friendly, place is clean and food is wonderful. Pictured below is the Scallops in garlic sauce. It was ok, but not my favorite. General Cso Chicken is really good. So is the Sazhuan Shrimp.

It’s a shame that I have to give one star. If I can delegate it, it would go to the person who got on the phone to help translate for the person refunding. I spent $55 on frozen egg rolls, a happy family with 1.5 pieces of each meat and a sesame chicken that they ended up adding rice too because they felt like skimping me when I didn’t order it as a combo order in the first place! Too boot, I think it was actually someone’s order from yesterday that they microwaved to oblivion and served to me. You couldn’t even chew the chicken. It was hard as a rock and not even saucy anymore. Hard and dry is not how I prefer chicken. The man that I was requesting the refund from kept yelling at me and telling me to bring back consumed food. I ordered dinner to deliver some to my elderly father who does live in Altoona but I live 30 minutes away. I was also told that it is policy to call with any problems within 10 minutes of order pickup. I called initially and got no answer around 20 minutes later. I drove home to go back to work (split shift) and then he yelled at me because I didn’t attempt to call back until I was done with my shift (1 and a half hours after initial order time) When I couldn’t provide an Altoona address and told him he could retrieve food at my address up the mountain, he proceeded to yell again and say “Too bad! You order food. You picked up food. You ate food. No refund!” Well no sir, I didn’t eat the food. It’s NOT edible. And that’s not how this is going to work. Do not yell at me when you are in the wrong. Don’t be in this business if you can’t handle criticism on disgusting uneatable food. After me explaining that he can come get it half an hour away if he wants since I wouldn’t be making the trip down, he got belligerent, screamed profanities, and said “okay I refund” and then hung up on me. I will give it until tomorrow to see the refund processing but never have I ever had more disgusting food and awful customer service to match. I will not be ordering from this establishment ever again even if their microwaved garbage was the last “consumable” left on planet earth. Again, 0 stars across the board. My one star goes to the one person who was empathetic and tried to help despite his terrible boss.

I ordered Wonton soup through Uber eats, I requested not to get Egg drop wonton soup. They are so lazy they didn’t even care. They are terrible, never going back.

Food was freezing like they just took it out of the freezer and tried to reheat it with a microwave. Plus they charge 2 dollars for delivery and want a tip on top of that. I'll be looking for freshly made Chinese food next time. I'd give them a zero if I could.

Great place to stop by after the liquor store beside it... some chicken and broccoli and some bottom shelf vodka always start my week off right!
