Dos Margaritas

So, the wife came home craving Mexican food and proceeded to find us a spot to try. We ended up over at Dos Margaritas in Crabapple. It was early so the place wasn't busy at all. Service was prompt and pleasant. I went for the Shrimp Enchiladas. They come topped with queso and a Chipotle sauce with a side of pablano rice. That's it, that's the dish. Now, the shrimp were grilled to perfection. You know, with a little char on them. So good. The rice has a nice peppery heat. What flavors came through were nice. In my humble foodie opinion, there was way too much cheese and the chipotle was more like a "spicy" mayo that you might get on a sushi dish. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really spicy. Like I said though, it wasn't a bad meal by any means. Personally, I would have went with a red, brown, or Verde as the main sauce and maybe a thinner queso base. Maybe add some peppers and veggies in with the shrimp. The shrimp were good, but that's all there was; shrimp, shells, cheese. That was it. For what it was, it tasted fine once you managed to get thru the layer o' queso. 👍

Our family has been coming here for years and it’s really sad to see them trying to take advantage of costumers.. - my dad had his credit card info stolen from this place - tonight my mother ordered ceviche which is traditionally served with tostadas (crispy tortilla). They served it with SALTINES . Then when my mother politely asked for the tostadas that they advertised ON THE MENU with this item…this restaurant CHARGED her for the tostadas !! Absurd. The server had to go to management to get it off our bill. We have been served ceviche multiples times here and NEVER received saltines. Our whole family is going elsewhere

Nice environment with good beer. Update on 03/31/19: I order two traditional fajitas and an additional guacamole dip yesterday to be delivered by Uber Eats and it was delivered ten minutes earlier than expected. So far so good! Guess to what cost! Things looked okay until a couple bites from the salad that I found a crazy looking bug in my salad and could not go on any further! It was good I remembered to take a couple pictures to post in this review for others to make a wiser decision where to order food from. I will die before I order food from this restaurant again. PS. The first line refers to the outside patio and that was right when I was buying my house in the area when I went there to have a beer and talk with my realtor!

Bar staff is excellent. I'm not sure on the quality of the food. I'll have to amend my post later... Okay well the food is just okay. It is definitely not like my authentic Mexican restaurant but it's okay. Would have definitely like more cheese on my quesadilla! The bar staff definitely made this place a great place to go to.
