I'd give it 3.5 if I could. Service was nice. Our waitress was respectful and nice. Amazing toast. Great hash browns. No egg whites. Egg beaters weren't that good at all. Ham tasted like lunch meat and not fresh ham. Turkey sausage tasted questionable but still good. Good bacon. If visiting, go everywhere else first.

I can't believe what has just happened here!! The cook is in the kitchen screaming at my waitress because she said the chicken dinner was dark meat when I got my food it was white meat so I asked if I could get the dark meat chicken dinner I ordered and she went back to the cook and told him and for some reason he's having a fit!! Extremely unprofessional and very embarrassing. I tried to talk to a manager but I was told there was no manager available. I can't believe that everyone in the restaurant could hear the cook back there having a fit in the kitchen. I will say that the rest of our meals where good and our waitress was very nice.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Alpena. The last few times, however, they have gone down hill. The food was overpriced, the portions small, and flavor lacking. My burger was bland and dry. My daughters BLT had only 2 slices of bacon, and that was undercooked amd greasy. The ONLY reason I gave 3 stars was because the service was great. Our server was as polite and attentive as she could be without being intrusive.
