Shorty's Bbq

My mouth for watering for bbq but when I got the food it was not good bake beans were out a can coleslaw was awful and we were over charged ...our total correct total was 67.00 and it was only two people . Not sure if they put a tip was on our tab 😡😡😡..We came up to ga. For a funeral and this restaurant still has me on toilet...I had to put one star to make a comment..

Im from south florida and just recently moved to Alma, and this place is top notch, the building is a little rustic type place, pretty small inside, with a smoking porch and a front door, you go inside and order and you can sit in a table, surrounded by georgia bulldog pictures, or you can get take out. I fully recommend eating inside, though, as there are not many people and you can get as many free refills and extra sauces as you want. Better for the price. The price is great, the fried pickles and fried okra are amazing, and so is the pulled pork sandwich, the burger, and probably the most popular order that I've seen, the chicken platter. You can also get 2 sides of fries as your 2 sides if you only want fries, I wholy recommend this place. Very good food, great atmosphere, very clean, and you feel right at home in a small town. 5 stars.
