Very friendly wait staff, great prices for the food. This place gets super busy!
I’d say the standouts for me were the hush puppies! Very good! Wait staff was all friendly and pretty prompt considering the amount of diners in the building.
So the big one, is the catfish was good? Well, it is good, but not the best, and that’s ok! I left satisfied and felt the price more than reasonable.
I’d definitely not wait in line to eat here. But I got here early and there wasn’t a wait. I had heard a ton about this place, so I was very excited to try it, I’m glad I did!

First time here. For the price, very good service and high quality food. As a visitor from Florida their fish is limited to catfish which is plentiful in this area. But many other tasty dishes available including steak. My friends had frog legs and catfish combo's and I had clam strips and catfish. The free pre-meal appetizers ...pickled green tomatoes, cole slaw, and fresh hush puppies were awesome 👌. Will go back again.

I thoroughly enjoy the food here. The hushpuppies, the fried catfish, and one of my personal favorites is the grilled trout. It's a great place for a family meal or a treat for friends.

We stopped on our road trip and it was amazing. We got 2 meals out of the 5 piece. Fish isn't muddy and well prepared. The sides included were so great. Hand cut fries, slaw, pickled veggies, hush puppies, and a Tootsie Roll Pop. If you are traveling, please make this a must stop.

We loved this place! My husband and I had regular combos which included up to three entrees, fries, coleslaw (for the table), green tomato pickles, dill pickles, and hush puppies. He had the frog’s legs and catfish fillets, while I had the catfish fillets, fried shrimp, and clam strips.
Our older kids had salmon, and boiled shrimp, while our youngest was able to eat free from the kids menu. He chose the chicken. All of the food we had tasted amazing! It was seasoned perfectly, with more than generous portions. We would have preferred a little less breading on the frog’s legs, but that was our only less than positive comment. The staff were all courteous and helpful.
Catfish Hole was a lovely place with a family atmosphere. We would go back often if we were local!

The food is very good, the service is iffy. I got the all you can eat boiled and fried shrimp. It took 30 minutes to bring out the first round, which was like 7 shrimp. I ate those in about 2 minutes, and had to wait at least 10 minutes for the next round. The process continued like this until another waitress started to come by and made sure that I had shrimp in front of me until I was full. She should be commended. Have been there twice, and both times it was kind of the same. Very good food, below average service. Could be because they are understaffed, I don't know. Most places are these days.

Excellent as always. The absolute best hush puppies I ever eaten and they bring you as many as you can eat! My son and I shared our plates of catfish fillets and fried shrimp. I have never left there hungry!
