Ordered chicken fried rice for my husband and chicken lo mein dinner for me. He couldn't eat his. No flavor, onion hunks were almost raw. Don't think they ever taste what they serve. Egg rolls were good, but lo mein was mostly noodles and lacking in flavor. First and last time for this place.

Food is okay. However, it is not a good place to dine in. There is no condiment on the tables. Not even salt or pepper. If you eat in, very cheap and small plastic fork and spoon are your tools. So, if you are not so hungry, you better order food to take out.

My Chinese food standards are high being from Brooklyn New York. Now that I put that out there I was skeptical to even try this place. It's really hard for me to find good Chinese food from outside of New York. When I do find good Chinese food the people running the place typically at one point lived in New York. Lol.. I kept it really simple with my order. They vegetable soup I had was okay at best. The fried rice was surprisingly okay. I usually don't like fried rice that is yellow like that. The chicken was mehhhhhh. Definitely won't try this place again. The restaurant was VERY clean & the gentleman that took my order was cool but the lady that gave me my food seemed to be very dry & stale.🤷🏾♂️

Good food for good prices. Clean, and has a inside dining area.

Love coming here, I always grab their noodle soups, my favorite has roast pork and shrimp dumplings. Ask to add some chili oil to really boost the flavor.

Got chicken fried rice takeout. It tasted weird. The chicken tasted like shrimp. I shouldn’t have ate it. I ended up with very bad food poisoning!
Worst feeling ever. Lasted days and couldn’t eat a thing. Kept throwing up the rice. Got dehydrated.
Two other friends ate with me and got food items different from mine and were fine. But I wouldn’t chance it.
Update: Food poisoning lasted 3 days and warranted a ER visit. It has been over a month and my gastrointestinal tract has not returned to normal. I’ve had to have multiple ER visits and a hospitalization due to not being able to eat properly since the food poisoning has irritated my GI tract and has caused a long-lasting membrane inflammation.

I have been eating at Chinese restaurants across the Lehigh Valley for 35 years. Over the decades many excellent restaurants have come and gone. For a quick pure takeout experience 88 China is currently the best and among my all time favorites. The food is simply amazing. The quality of ingredients is top notch and their fried rice is second to none. The selection of noodles is fantastic and the dish called drunken noodles is delicious. If you are looking for an elegant sit down experience, you will want to look elsewhere. 88 China has more seating than most, but it’s very basic and like most Chinese take out joints it’s understandably an afterthought.
