China House Restaurant

Used to be my go to Chinese take-out place for many years, however last few times food quality and inconsistent pricing have been an issue. This time was the worst and my last. Must be cutting corners in addition to price increase ($10). Their food was not even worthy of one star. Noodles were overcooked and mushy. Entrees had no taste and sauce was extremely watered down... brown watery, oily liquid which water separated from the liquid laying in a pool at bottom of containers. Vegetables were not a variety mix but a bunch of hard celery pieces. Vegetables in hot and sour soup had a woodsy oak-like taste, were hard and chewy. Shrimp egg rolls had no shrimp in them. Female who took phone order and worked counter was extremely rude and nasty. No communication or people skills. $42 food order to throw most of it away, because it was ineatable. Owner could care less about these concerns. Kept repeating "next time bring it back and will make it again" even after I told him if he can't make a wrong right, then there will not be a next time. So will no longer purchase take out from China House ever again.

1st Visit was Fine, 2nd (and Last) Visit I added Broccoli to my Order , it was Uncooked and Hard, Eggrolls were Hard and appeared old, called them and they asked me to Bring my Uneaten Food Back for a refund that was in the Garbage..Mgr needs training on Customer Relations Most Bussinesses would have replaced a $10 order on the Customers word. to keep the Customer....Dirty / Dark ( God Knows what the kitchen looks like)

Scam artists . I’m convinced they just make up prices . Ordered food for delivery one day it was 17 dollars . Ordered less food another time for delivery it was 26 dollars. Prices make no sense . wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for the inconsistency in pricing and food quality. First time eating here food was amazing the other two times after that it was just decent

We've ordered from here quite a bit since moving to the area. At first the food was good but the last few times not so much. The General Tso's chicken was like chewing gum, the rice was chewy, and the egg rolls were so small and barely had anything in them. My husband and I both are sick as we speak and won't be returning here.

Worst place ever. Staff was rude. When I stated I can not eat rice and asked if I am able to pay to substitute for lo mein I was told no. I then asked if I could purchase the chicken separately then as I can not eat rice. She said yes but I have to still pay full price for a combo even tho it is no longer a combo. People have no idea of customer service or consideration for people with allergens. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
