And I’ll add five more stars in the body of this review! From the greeting at the door, to the impeccable service provided by Marlon, to all the food and drinks and check in by Greg the manager, our first experience at Lazy Dog will be the reason we come back again and again. Every single person we interacted with was welcoming, personable and made us feel so comfortable. We are new to Texas and still exploring our new home. Lazy Dog is the standard of hospitality we hoped we would experience and we absolutely did! Marlon was intuitive and charming. He made the best recommendations and our meal was excellent. We were welcomed with these delicious waffle fries, then enjoyed some crispy coconut shrimp followed by the lamb shank pot pie for my husband and BBQ ranch burger for me. I also tried the cucumber thyme lemonade since I’m pregnant and can’t have alcohol. The beverage came looking like a cocktail and I didn’t feel “left out” while my husband tried the beer sampler. Marlon somehow guessed the Texas apple pie would be the perfect end to our meal and couldn’t have been more spot on. I cannot wait to come back and maybe next time enjoy the patio with my pup!

Food was delicious!! Our server was Andrew and he was amazing. Very attentive, helped us with food selections and just had a great attitude. I would have given a 5 star but the hostess with the blue sequined mask was beyond rude while seating us. We visited for lunch after church on Jan. 31.

Food always great, you can bring your four legged to the outside patio. Very busy on Friday night but we got our table quickly. My favorite are the Brussels sprouts and candy bacon. Can't go wrong with those two. We ordered meatloaf and St Louis ribs, they all came out great. Mashed cauliflower is really good with the meatloaf.

Great atmosphere, family friendly and pandemic precautions intact. Hot dog,( the "Dirty Dog") was stacked with flavor and Chicken Parm was outstanding! We will be returning. Highly recommend this family restaurant with its variety of menu choices.

On our last night visiting our kids (we live in Michigan-they live in Texas), we chose lazy dog. There was no waiting, we were seated right away. I was truly impressed with the interior decor. The birch looking trees by the concierge lent an air of nature. The metal dog sculptures were pretty awesome. I loved the beams in the high ceiling, very cool and I am inspired to create something similar in my own home. The fireplace wall was awesome, huge and the deer head mounted on it was unique and fitting. The restaurant was clean and spacious, easy to see from the road. Our waitress was Margaret and she was very friendly, knowledgeable seemed happy to be there. She brought our drinks right away. My son enjoyed the Alaskan Halibut. He raved about how good it was. The rest of us were slightly disappointed. IMO, the lazy dog takes the usual menu offerings but puts their on twist on it. There’s nothing wrong with that, it just didn’t meet our expectations. The queso was orange cheese with a different flavor-not bad, but not what we were expecting either. My daughter got the fried chicken meal. The seasoning in the breading was, different, unusual. Four of us tried it, the only one that really enjoyed it was my son. I got the pot roast beef dip. That was good and tasty. Both I and my daughter enjoyed the sandwich. The onion rings didn’t have much taste and I found them unremarkable. Hubbs got the cheeseburger which he liked and my acquired daughter got the all American burger which she liked. The portions of food were generous, but I felt the prices were high. I’m glad we tried this restaurant, but it is not going on my “must return” or favorite lists.

First time guest, my friend and I were extremely blown away. Where do I begin? We were greeted by a super friendly host (manager said her name was Emily H. She had brown hair and glasses ) we were quickly sat without a wait. Then we were greeted by our server, Andrew, who explained the menu thoroughly. We ordered a bunch of stuff and the manager Ashley came and talked to us for awhile. She ended up bring us two complimentary apps which were amazing. You guys MUST try the deviled eggs and the calamari. Both are so amazing. Paying was easy and we were greeted as we left the building as well. I hope it’s like this all the time cuz this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Overall, everything was super good. 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be coming back again. Want to come back and checkout those happy hour cocktails!

Great food and fantastic service! I just had a burger, and it was great. I know of nowhere where the buns don't fall apart as you eat them, so I can't blame them for that. My wife had shrimp tacos, something I'd never eat, and she really enjoyed them. The server was excellent. I'd recommend them highly for the service. I'd say the food depends on your taste, like everywhere else. I just found it excellent and we'll definitely go back.

Tonight was our first time trying out Lazy Dog and it was an EXCELLENT experience. We ate on the patio and it had a great atmosphere. Our waiter Hassan was wonderful. He made sure we were well taken care of and gave great menu suggestions. The food was good and they had a few unusual/fun items on the menu I had to try. We will definitely go back soon!
