We have been going here regularly for years. Great people, manager Norma, and of course our amazing server, Karla!! They go above and beyond to provide the service, food, and atmosphere that keeps us coming back like family. We have built a great friendship with Karla and several other severs here. Just wish they would bring back their amazing barbecue brisket enchiladas and salmon!!! We love it here 😊

I'm from New Mexico, so Mexican food is a little bit different there than in Texas. Mi Cocina's food is very tasty. Try the red chili posole, it's spicy chunky chicken goodness!

When coming back home from Austin my first request was to meet up with my family at Mi Cocina for a mambo. Roberto made the experience so much better than the mambo (and the mambo was incredible). I told my family to only come back and request for him moving forward! He’s the true meaning of a keeper!

This is our absolute favorite mi Cocina location. We ask for Roberto every time and he always exceeds our expectations! Food is great of course but we come to enjoy Roberto and his sparkling attitude! He introduced me to the smash margarita that is delicious! Great for a casual lunch or a date night! Come eat here and ask for Roberto!!!

The food is always good. The service is sometimes slow, but it’s very clean and the staff inside is usually attentive. Outside is mostly slow but the atmosphere is fun and great to people watch and valet is across the way which helps in cold nights.

This Is my favorite Mexican restaurant for dining in or curbside pickup. Dined in today and was fortunate to have Roberto as my server. He was polite, courteous, attentive and made this an exceptional dining experience. The food is always excellent and the drinks are fantastic! Leo, the manager stopped by our table and thanked us for coming in. This is a great place for families, groups, couples or dining alone.

Besides from the wide selection of delicious meals that Mi Cocina offers, my server, Roberto, is the reason for me wanting to come back again. His genuine character and kind disposition made me feel like I really got the most out of my time as he continually kept me entertained and repeatedly checked in with my party. My wife and I love Mi Cocina and have been to several locations throughout DFW. But the location in Allen at Watters Creek is hands down the best. We ask for Roberto every time because he is nice, friendly and provides outstanding service. The last time I visited, the general manager, Leo, stopped by to make sure out food and drinks were perfect. In between managing the restaurant and helping his servers bring out food/drinks, Leo still found time to make us feel like the most important customers in the entire place! Kudos to Roberto and Leo for being awesome!
