Torchys Tacos

I work only a few minutes from Torchy's Tacos. So I decided to stop here during my lunch break on 09/20/2020 around 1pm. I placed my order online and when it said my order was ready I went to go pick it up. upon arriving I tried calling to let whoever was working that day know that I arrived. No one answered the phone... There were very few cars in the parking lot.. Getting no where with phone calls, I then decided to text the number posted on the sign outside. I recived no text back. After 10 minutes I then went inside to let the workers know my name, and that I was here for a online to go order. The girl at the front rudely said "Yeah we know, we recived your text, it'll be another few minutes" A simple text back letting me know they knew I was there would have been nice.. I walked back to my car and noticed alot of to go bags just sitting inside on a chair. Thinking nothing of it I waited another 10 minutes with no one coming out to my car. By this time a few people who were waiting just as long as me walked inside and found out the pile up of to go bags that was left for at least 15 - 20 minutes by now was their to go orders. I rushed back inside and saw my to go order that has been there the whole time! I went back to my car and checked my food. My fajitas were drowning in grease. I couldn't pick my fajitas up without grease ending up everywhere! I walked back in, and the girl ask "what happened"? I showed her my fajitas and explained my issue to her, and let her know I was here, waiting the whole time and never even saw anybody running food out to any of the cars. She rudely told me that she watches over the cooks, and there is no way that much grease came from their store... Nothing was done about my food.. By this time I had to go back to work anyway... The employees are rude, and disrespectful. I will not be back...

Me and my family have been loyal customers since we moved to this area in 2012. We love this place and go here all the time! Because of COVID however, its been difficult to go out, so we decided to place an order through DoorDash. It was an estimated wait of 45 minutes which is understandable considering it’s a Friday night. We were alerted after 30 minutes that our order was ready, so my mom went to pick up the food. Stating she was picking up a doordash order and had gotten a notification the order was ready, one of the workers went to look for it and told her it wasn’t ready, even though they had notified us otherwise. My mother has to tell several different workers her name and what she ordered, and all of them reply the same thing “it’s not ready yet”. THIRTY minutes go by, and my mom once again asks for our DoorDash order, to which the incompetent girl at the front says “oh it’s a DoorDash order?” and picks up a bag that has been sitting there for the duration we waited. She let our food sit there, ready, while we waited for 30 minutes for it to come out. Had she put any effort into her job at all, she could have clearly seen the order was ready. Instead of offering a discount, refund, or any other compensation she asks if we want them to remake the order, as if we hadn’t already waited 30 minutes. So of course, we return home with soggy and cold tacos that were nothing more than disappointing, only to find that they had left out one of our meals as well. Not only is the front of house incompetent but the back of house as well. I’ve looked at other 1 star reviews and it seems as this experience is not unusual. If you want hot tacos, good food served in a decent time, and workers who won’t give you snobby attitudes DON’T COME HERE! The managers or owner has yet to reply to any of the negative experiences and reviews, which shows how much they care of their so called “customer service”. We will never be back again and encourage others to find better food and service elsewhere.

Every other taco place I've visited in the area is better than this Torchy's. The chips were salted to the point that no one at the table wanted to eat them, the fajita taco meat was extremely over cooked, and barabcoa was dry as can be. It was either over cooked as well or old. In general the tacos were bland and seemed to be made with cheap ingredients. My wife said, "I make better tacos than this at home." And she's right! Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other taco places in the area. They're all better than this place.

The food here is really good, but it seems like every time I come here they make a mistake. It’s either they forgot my chips, forgot my salsa, made my fajitas too greasy, or had to wait too long. Once, I was waiting for my food in my car, in the parking lot. I had to wait nearly 50 minutes just for them to give me the wrong order. Come to find out, my proper order was waiting on the table for nearly an hour. So I guess if you want good food but don’t mind having to go back there to get your forgotten chips, this is your place.

place used to be good. We went on january 29th, 2021 and noticed their prices have gone way up and the quality of food was less than great! corn tortillas were so dried out i could not eat them. brisket was fatty. you just dont get much food for 5$ per taco. i wont be going back anytime soon.. thank you.
