Burger King

This burger king is showing the signs of mismanagement and age. The outside is run down compared to the other fast food restaurants in town. Employees have conversations with customers out of the drive thru window, while others wait. The whopper with cheese I ordered had more mayonnaise than a church luncheon. The burger was fine, but the tomato still had the stem pit in it, making some bites hard. The fries were not salted to Burger King's specifications. Yes, there is such a thing. In the bag, there was no ketchup or offering of any sauce packets. There were also no napkins. The Dr. Pepper I ordered I enjoyed. Burger King would have liked to see them offer a large or king size upgrade, or their latest craze they are advertising. This didn't happen either. All this is a direct reflection of the local management at this restaurant as other restaurants in different franchises look amazing and portray Burger King as a modern food eatery that is fast and not fast food.

These guys are trying so hard to manage through the pandemic. The drive through staff are always friendly and they do their best with limited staff to keep things moving. Sometimes the wait is long, sometimes the food isn’t hot but when we realize there are often only two people running the whole place, we just have to give them a break.

I went to this location a week ago. I used to live in Alexandria and remember a few times going there as a kid. Haven't walked in for YEARS and was surprised it looked exactly the way I remembered it back in the late 90s! Didn't mind... But I waited a little and had to peak in the kitchen to say hello to get staffs attention. Tried to order a 3 piece kids meal French toast sticks BOTH employees told me that it's not a thing (it is I work at a different location but wasn't going to argue with them) I also got a 5 piece French toast for myself. I knew they were pretty dead but I figured because of that French toast sticks would be made to order (as they only take 1 minute to cook). We got the food drove away and the French toast sticks were OLD I swear it had to be almost an hour they were hard and chewy barely even good at all, all 8 of them. Which implies they had plenty pre-made. Definitely the worst ones I've ever had and I LOVE French toast sticks. From now if I ever go to this location I will request specifically out of fryer sticks.

Bait and switch at this place. Ordered a whopper and small coke..came to $10. When asked if this was right, as the drive thru menu board said a lower price, the response was the prices were raised 2 days ago and the lady hadn't had time to change to board. At this price I wouldn't have ordered. The lady should have given me the price listed on the board. Avoid this place... dishonest people!

The workers at BK are some of the realest mfers in town. You ask for a rodeo burger even though it's not on the menu? No problem. You accidentally drive off before taking your credit card back? They gotchu, just swing by in the morning, they'll keep it safe. You're starting a metal band and need a drummer? They'll hook you up. Having an existential crisis? Nothing a frozen coke won't solve. The Alexandria BK is a bastion of shining light in a world of overpriced chicken sandwiches. Thank you. I love you. I'll see you tomorrow for lunch

3/19/22 Drive thru... Was going to order breakfast but I was told they just ended a breakfast couple minutes. I then ordered a double bacon cheeseburger_ PLAIN. I went across the street to the mall parking lot to eat it before I went in to street to eat it before I went in to a store. When I took it out of the bag less than 5 min after receiving the burger was barely warm for being freshly made. Of course it had ketchup, mustard & pickles. I was in kind of a time crunch so I ate all but about 3 bites as I had a class to get to. About 1 1/2 hrs later I was in my class & I suddenly knew I was going to be sick. I ended up so violently vomiting from then thru most of the night it was horrible!!! I even pulled muscles some in my back & ribs!! ER dr diagnosed food poisoning as it was the only thing i had been able to eat all day! 😭
