Great food and great people! This place is a must try especially on Thursday when it's fried chicken day! They have the best fried chicken in the state ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a great place! We had breakfast there both going and returning from a recent trip to the Gulf! The food was excellent and the service was great! Lucille is a trip too! I would go back to Alexandria just to eat at Lucille's!!!
Was greeted immediately by the sweetest lady I’ve encountered in a long while. Definitely a better experience than the last place I went to this morning. The food was absolutely perfect!! Kudos to the staff here at Lucille’s! If I’m ever back in the area, this is definitely on my return list. ♥️
OOPS! We got there late. There was no baked chicken and half the sides were out. I settled on the fried chicken and potato salad. The chicken was very nicely seasoned. The potato salad was good too. The cornbread was sweet. The grilled shrimp salad was nice with lots of shrimp. Lexie, our server, was SWEET TEA in leopard print Adidas shoes. The place is popular with the locals, which is just what we were looking for. If we go back, we'll make it early so we can have all of the choices.
The people here are extremely friendly and treat you like family. The food never fails either! Whether you want an omelet or a hearty lunch these lovely people will have you covered!

I love eating here! The atmosphere is great, the staff is very attentive, and the food is very tasty. The place has a small-town feel where folks know each other and enjoy one another's company. Definitely a throw-back to an earlier, simpler time.
