Always a pleasure to support this locally owned pizza place. Since they moved a bit closer to our house a few years ago I must say the new space is fantastic! What sets them aside is the delicious crust & fresh ingredients! When we moved to Old Town 8+ years ago, Monterey what’s the first pizza place we ordered from and we’ve been loyal fans ever since! My favorite is mushroom & jalapeño. My better half adds sausage. Always good to support the local owner believe it is Dan?) & remember to tip well. Everyone working so hard especially in these difficult times.

Save your time and money and don't order from this pizza place! There are tons of other pizza places in the area who prides themselves in making quality, top-tier pizza! I ordered for takeout and the young lady at the cash register was very nonchalant about everything! She didn't hand me a receipt and walked away as I was asking her a question- poor customer service skills! It gets better, as I get home, not too far away, I open the box and it looks like the pizza is thrown together and the crust is so burnt that it didn't even look edible. I can't believe that a business who has been around this long is not doing quality assurance checks on what's being delivered out of this place! I will never be back to this place and I highly advise against it if you're ordering in the area! Pics will be posted for proof!

Usually order this pizza for the quality delivery. Have been doing this for over 10 years. The past year or so, quality went way down. I know cheese is expensive, however putting cheese on the pizza is the main part! The pies are dry and lacking any cheese. So sad, because I used to order Monterey’s without thinking twice. We are done with ordering with them. Looking local? Try Fairlington pizza- you want a good cheesy pizza!! Or stick with the chains for guaranteed quality!

I love this place! One of my favorite places to order from in old town for lunch. They have the most amazing cauliflower crust…I’m gluten free but my co-worker isn’t, and even she prefers the cauliflower crust it’s that good! Thank you all for your speedy deliveries and accurate orders, I appreciate it.

Delicious gourmet pizza place. Was (is) pricy when we were ordering pick-up. They had a good two large pie deal (one large gourmet and one large regular). They recently increased the price so this in no longer a deal. $20 per is too much when other gourmet places have better deals. The quality has always been good. Though a few times the toppings were skimmed and once the middle was under cooked. They are good at just remaking the pizzas if you ask. Maybe we'll come back if they get some better deals.

The pizza selection and the other food items were very great, but this place doesn't have very many single person menu items, unless you order a sub or wings. The place was a little hard to find off route 1 you'll have to slow down to see it, and going north bound you can't turn directly into the restaurant. They don't have any place within the restaurant to wait for your order, but they also deliver so I would suggest ordering delivery. But all together the food was delicious the prices are fair and my experience was very convenient. Would recommend this place if you are in old town or Potomac yard.

I live exactly 2.0 miles from the store. After I placed an order online, they called me to complain that I was "outside of the delivery zone," but they'd let me buy from them this time. Remember, 2 miles. Next time I'll use someone else. Problem solved.

The BEST cauliflower gluten-free crust! It’s definitely thin crust, & it’s a little chewy (in a good way) rather than cracker-crisp. It doesn’t taste at all like cauliflower to me, more like toasted cheese with some seasonings—though if you truly hate cauliflower, you may get a tiny bit of a veggie aftertaste. Comes in 10” & 12” that are true to size, & the toppings cover side-to-side with barely any bare crust at the edges. (For reference, for all my GF buddies out there, I like Banza’s frozen chickpea pizza crust just fine, and cannot even eat the ones from CauliPower, their crust is slimy & gross! So that’s where my tastebuds fall on the GF-pizza-spectrum.) The regular wheat pizzas from here are excellent, too, but this is the first time I’ve had a GF pizza that I would choose over traditional crust, even if it wasn’t GF. Fabulous!
