Review Stone Hot Pizza - Alexandria

I got the lunch special pizza with pep. It was excellent and I'll get more pizza from again. Good crust, good sauce, good cheese, piping hot. Owner was chatty, interesting, and amiable. The place was clean. I don't have a picture of the pizza because it was so good I smashed it quickly. Pizza isn't photogenic anyways. For the owner: any chance of getting beer? Your pizza would be great with a beer.

Veggie pizza tasted alright. The cheese pizza came burnt and missing portions of cheese. They sent a good pizza and a bad pizza. What a shame....

This location has changed so much in quality. I remember when I used to come here - I could get fresh food and my correct order 99% of the time and in the few times there was an issue it was no big deal because the former person, Dia, would make sure it wouldn’t happen again. Now, I’m lucky if I actually get fresh salad. The struggle with ordering their chicken Caesar salad is they don’t include chicken sometimes, sometimes no croutons and sometimes just old disgusting salad - visibly old. This is the 3rd time…unsure why they have something on their menu they don’t actually have the full ingredients for?! It’s a simple salad…never understood when it became so complicated?! Ordered that along with a pizza today - it takes skill to burn the crusts of a pizza and still have the dough slightly undercooked. I scraped that off and put back in an oven. Obviously something is wrong…but no one is taking the time to check the quality. Seems like the quality of the food in general has gone down aside from my issues with their food - a couple of months ago my friend and I went to order food and he was not happy with his order because originally giving him the wrong order then telling him they didn’t have it, then finally giving him a burnt version of his order. Wish they could get it together. It is as if they truly don’t want your business. Quality inspection of the food people are paying for and consuming would go a long way - apologies are empty words without action. Increasing the prices and decreasing the quality doesn’t make sense.

Ordered a Napoli pizza on wheat crust with added chicken. Website very user friendly, pizza was ready quicker than estimated. However, the pizza was so greasy it was soaked all the way through the pizza box. I don't know if this was due to the pesto or what, but I ended up throwing the last two pieces away.

Pizza I picked up was mostly burnt. I should’ve checked at the store. I wouldn’t have reviewed but this is the third time this happened. Last time the wings were burnt and before that, half cooked. Ironically, when I called to let the store know, I was put on long hold..

Pasta and pizza are good. Also ordered cheesecake costing nearly $6 and it was a sliver. All we could do was laugh. Very disappointed by Stone Hot's stingy serving size. I've actually never seen such a small piece of cheesecake sold by a restaurant. Take it off the menu if that's what you are going to sell.

Their food is good, meat here doesn't have an after taste. I prefer to order ahead of time usually since they get really busy specially on weekends. My order was once prepared inaccurately but the manager Mohammed took care of it immediately and very professionaly. Clean store and relatively quick service to prepare the food. I highly recommend trying their chicken and Greek burger paninis. Oh and their pizzas are really great and come in all kinds of combinations.

I ordered a pizza and charged me 26 $ - was totally raw. Just throws it a way. I will never ever visit this place again. The test was horrible the smell was like … I called the store he said sorry, Its good way of business taking people money and give them trash.
