My wife and I went to the High Kings concert here and were very surprised by the building itself. It was really cool to get to watch the High Kings in person. It’s a cool venue, very clean and spacious. Lots of musical history in that building and displayed all over in the artwork. It is a nice blend of modern and vintage. I’m looking forward to coming back again.

This is a great venue and we have gone here for years. There are great performers that come through every month and it never gets old. The venue is relatively small and intimate. I’ve sat al over the venue and there isn’t a bad seat in the place. People get there early to get up close but it’s not necessary. It’s structured where everyone can have a good view of the stage. The menu is smaller post Covid but it still has a few good selections. Stay away from the mozzarella sticks. The bread pudding is good though! They have a great root beer too.

I visited last Friday with my husband for a Judith Hill concert and we had a blast. It was my first time at this venue and I really liked the ambiance. We weren’t really spaced out much, but it was nice being in a communal setting again. The food wasn’t 5 star, but it was good for the moment. I’d definitely recommend eating before you go or just snacking on appetizers. Other than that, our waitress was very lively and friendly. All in all a good experience; I’d definitely go back for another show.

A great music venue, and I think that my favorite part is that there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. It was fun enjoying a cold beer while watching a talented band. I can see myself going back often.

We visited yesterday for the Air Supply concert and we had such a great time. It was my first time at this venue and I really liked the atmosphere and the place set up. The food was great too and the server was very friendly. I would recommend being there very early to secure good seats. All in all a great experience; I’d definitely go back for another show.

You don't need me to tell you to go experience a premier concert venue that seamlessly combines food, fund, and free parking. Go, just to scan the walls covered with music royalty--past, present, and future. Go, and chill to the tunes while munching tasty snacks, entrees, and cold brews. Go, because it can improve your mood. My recent visit to hear legendary composer, arranger, producer, et al, David Foster--whose portfolio includes Whitney Houston and Chicago--is a case in point. It took me about 20-30 minutes to get my head into the innovative offerings because the tragedy of the Buffalo shootings continued to weigh heavy on my mind. But the talent and humor from the legend, his live guests, and video appearances from Kenny G, Celine Dion, and Josh Groban eventually soothed my troubled spirit and made for a wonderful evening. Ah, the power of music!

I've been to the Birchmere many times over the years. This time was different. The food was better than before; considerably better. And 8 was taken by the acoustics and sound engineering. As an audiophile, I'm "trained" to listen critically, but I don't usually in concert situations. The best acoustic/sound engineering in recent memory was at The Barns of Wolftrap, known for it's acoustic design. I was stunned at the clarity, crispness, and effortless presentation during the show. From every instrument, including operatic and jazz vocalists, the sound was sublime. I need to get back, as when we left I forgot to pay homage and give props to the sound engineer. It was his show, and he hit it out of the park. Utter perfection.
