The street tacos were delicious and tasted very similar to the ones back home. I got the Diablo margarita and the spice on it was great. It wasn’t spicy but definitely did have a kick to it. Our waitress did a great job at being attentive. The music being played was authentic and reminded me of home. Overall a great restaurant, ambiance, and service. Worth trying out if you are in the area.

We really enjoyed this place. We had the combination fajitas with salmon, scallops and shrimp. It was very good. Salsa and chips were good too. Great service. Cool place. I would definitely recommend this place.

We LOVED this place!! The Carne Asada fajitas for two people are 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻. We picked this place on a whim and loved it. Excellent service, free chips and salsa, super yummy. Great for like a casual brunch or afternoon.

This place is my favorite in Old Town Alexandria. The staff is so down to earth and kind. I order shrimp tacos every time I come, and 100% of the time it’s fire. I bring all my friends here for lunch catch-ups and dinner. The margaritas, *chefs kiss*. There is no other taco restaurant in Alexandria I’d prefer to go to. Forever a regular at Los Cuates. 7 stars.

First and last time eating here. Decided to check it out but had quite a bad experience overall. Service was degraded and disorganized, overcharged for margaritas (but made right when I brought it up), rice and beans were off tasting, and never was assigned a server at our table. Had to awkwardly flag down other servers who had other tables to worry about. Too bad - was hoping to have a new regular place to visit, but price vs. taste and experience ratio doesn't add up.

This was an extremely disappointing meal. We were waiting for at least 40 minutes to only get food below the quality of a Taco Bell. If I’m being honest, a Taco Bell Cantina runs laps around this place for half the price. The food was not hot on arrival, components of the dish were missing, and the fruit on the plate looked re-used. I literally placed ketchup on the fruit to ensure it doesn’t get re-plated. I felt embarrassed for the waitress and she seemed embarrassed too. The brunch did not live up to basic expectations, significantly missing the mark.

My husband and I visited for lunch. As we waited for our order we ordered the medium sized mango margarita’s. The waitress was kind to give us chips and salsa as we waited. The salsa had good flavor but was very watery. We ordered two Al Pastor Burritos to-go. I wish we stayed to eat because I would have returned my food. My burrito was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. Salty does not equal flavor. If it wasn’t too much of a hassle to go back I would’ve gone back to get my money back. The rice and beans accompanied with it was meh. It’s like they took the salt from the rice and beans and added it all to the burrito. I also think they are over priced for the portion of food you receive. For two lunch burritos and two mango margaritas the bill came out to $68. A total waste. I won’t be returning to this restaurant. I’d prefer Taco Bell’s over this place. Taco Bell’s give same portion and better flavoring then this salty, flavorless and meh restaurant. Might I add Mexican food is by far my favorite food and never have I ever had such an experience.
