Service was quick, and food was great. Everything was tender, delicious, and tasty. The chicken was well seasoned and lathered in sauce. The chicken wasn’t dry. Our service was very attentive.
Wish I could say more, but I highly recommend this place. I know I’ll definitely be back for more!

Famous Dave’s the traditional barbecue place is the spot to go if you want to be well fed and feel at home. Customer service was amazing and the food somehow managed to top that. If you’re researching before you go make sure you check out there daily deals, they’re great!!!!

This is the place to go for bar-b-que. We ordered the feast for two. It came with several menu items enough to feed 2-3 people. Price was not bad…$42. We finished our dinner with bread pudding that was delish!! Can’t wait to return when we get a craving for bar-b-que. Our server and the staff were great.

Started off great. Catfish fingers for appetizer were crispy flavored and hot to touch! When our main meal came food was room temperature a minute away from cold. Waiter was not attentive had too many tables and couldn’t multitask. Barely checked on us and had to be reminded too many times about common sense request. The paper towel roll was low brought to their attn but never replenished. The light at our table was dirty with old splashed sauce. Not a good experience will likely not return.

I've been here three times and every time the brisket is the most lack luster example of brisket I've ever seen. I don't know how you can claim to be "Famous" in terms of BBQ and serve dry, over cooked, thin slices of brisket. I'm not one to complain or send food back, but I have with this brisket every time, it's the equivalent of a well done steak :/ What's more is that I'm pretty sure you're only getting served the "flat", so if you're looking for some good fatty pieces of the "point", look elsewhere. Just disappointing.
I enjoy the atmosphere and the service has always been good, and absolutely love the cornbread muffins. Great selection of beers too, but the brisket fail is a full stop for me. I'll have to search elsewhere to get some good brisket, this was the last time for me at Dave's. Hopefully they can change their business model and get more on par with say a "Rudy's BBQ" chain. Rudy's is proof that you CAN consistently make good BBQ at a decent price using a franchise business model. God I miss Texas lol.

Update: been here a few time in the past few weeks. Maybe it is the new cooks. The food is good. Wish I could give a 1/2 star. Make it 3 1/2 stars. Still bummed about the firecracker green beans not returning.
Don't go as much. The food quality seems to have gone down and prices went up. They have removed some of the stuff off the menu. Like firecracker green beans.

Ordered the catfish fingers platter and the lemonade. Good value for $17. My lemonade was good cornbread was delicious, the corn was moist, slaw was amazing, and the remoulade tasted great as well. The seasoning on the catfish was amazing! Only bad part was the amount of salt that was in there. I couldn't eat all of it because I felt as though my blood pressure which is low, would become problematic. If that seasoning is mixed in with the salt, that's a problem. Otherwise will definitely go back to try something else on the menu! Yum!
