The food is made fresh to order and always hot. I order the sweet and sour chicken combination. It comes with rice, egg drop soup, one egg roll, and the main dish includes bell peppers, carrots, etc. You can have it spicy hot or mild. Plenty of food. I also order the fried won tons with meat appetizers to complete my meal. I am satisfied with their service. I am a regular customer and the lady recognizes me and smiles, but very businesslike as is her custom. I love that it is in my neighborhood and can avoid Coors and Central too!
My and I have gone there several times, and we've called in orders. Eating there for lunch or dinner is an experience we won't forgot, because we love oriental food. We've always had good and pick up service. The cashier lady- yes I agree she gets busy, but she has been kind to us. We've met her daughters and, also they are very nice. In all, it has good food and service. I really recommend to anyone who loves this type of food just try it you'll like it.
So delicious and cheap. I just recently had New Dragon a couple of days ago for the first time and I'm glad I had it. Prices are affordable and their Chinese food tastes authentic, which is hard to find in Albuquerque.

Fresh and Delicious. My husband and I eat here when we crave Chinese food. The owners are super friendly, they use fresh ingredients, and they never skimp on the portions. Our favorite is the Sweet and Sour Combo with Wonton soup, but i've also had the General Tsao's Chicken and the Cashew Chicken and all are excellent. Also, the Potstickers and Crab Rangoon are delicious! I highly recommend.

Close by and fresh!. This place is just around the corner from my house and it's my favorite chinese place in town! The woman who works the front is always friendly and I love that when I go in there I see them cutting fresh ingredients for my wonton soup!(It's my favorite thing to order from them) Another thing I always see when I go in there is family. To see a locally owned family restaurant that takes pride in what they do is amazing.
I was recommended this place due to affordability and quality. I order a large egg drop soup, crab Rangoon, and large chicken fried rice box and was 19.75. It my opinion it was a bit pricey compared to other Chinese places in which I can get more for my buck. Nonetheless the rice is worth buying here.
The food is fantastic. The service is ok. Communication is tough, so they won't help at all. But they're nice and they're very busy. The place isn't for dates. It's a hole in the wall and smoky. But the food is definitely worth it, and I'll take out often. If I could communicate with the staff and try new dishes, I would give it 5 stars.
Most underrated Chinese food in ABQ. Why would you ever go to Panda Express when you have this spot?!

I went the other night and it was delicious! This is the place to go if you're looking for authentic Chinese food that tastes really good. Why do people even bother going to Panda Express or other Chinese food restaurants when there is New Dragon!? If you're undecided and thinking about giving it a try, do it. You will not be disappointed. Also, It's super cheap and a lot of food
Update: I am still a proud serving customer here. Just got a whole lot of food for less than $30. The customer service is not rude at all. I have been to many places and experienced way worse customer service than here. 10/10 5 Stars ⭐️
Had the kung po chicken and it was delicious nice and spicy. Egg rolls could be a little bigger. It's one of the things green pack and portion cookies.
So good! Ordered sesame chicken for the lunch special plate also came with spring roll. Only wish is that they allow you to get steamed rice instead of fried for dinner plate only reason why I didn't give 5 stars!!

The food is tasty and wonderful for the price. The customer service could be a little friendlier, but I am not there to dine in. I want good food, reasonably priced, and in a reasonable amount of time. New Dragon has provided this, so a solid for 4 Star! Friendlier customer service and I would of easily given a 5 Star.
If you want cheap yet delicious Chinese food. Don't go to Hohos, go here to the New Dragon. Waaay better. It's clean and only smells of tasty Chinese.
