This was my first time at Gigi's since it's grand opening. And I must say, I need to visit this place more often. The Wedding Soup was savory and seasoned just right without being salty. The Cabonara was probably the best I've ever had. My friends that came with me had the pizza and they said it was probably the best pizza they've had. Over all great food experience!

We went here in a whim, and certainly glad we did. This small venue served some of the best Italian food I've ever come across, and probably the best you'll find in Albuquerque unless you have an Italian Grandma. We also happened to try the four cheese pizza which was very flavorful, an unexpected treat for not having any toppings. You may want to think about making a reservation, or you could end up waiting

Best Italian in Abq!!! So sad I didn't take pictures of my food but I was too busy eating it. Had the chicken tortellini carbonara and a calzone, portions are for 2 people a plate. Loved every bite!

The food is incredible. Coming from a W.O.P. from CT you can believe me when I say this place is authentic Italian food and you will like it .if you don't then you don't know Italian food .End of story.
p.s. it's a great story about the chef too!

Best Italian food in town, large portion dishes. The chef has been on the television show Hells Kitchen twice, nice atmosphere! Fresh ingredients!

This place is new and still has a few rough edges but the food both times I ate here was tasty and authentic. Service was also very good. My only complaint about the food is that the lasagna was not heated all the way through and was a little cold in the middle. Otherwise, it was great and pretty close to what my first-generation Italian-American father makes. I also wish they would improve the ambiance a little bit; it is too noisy and the lighting is too bright. The atmosphere is kind of cold and sterile, worthy more of fast food than fine Italian dining. Nonetheless, this place is off to a good start after being in business for just a few months and with a few improvements, it could easily be five star. Gigi is a welcome addition to the restaurant scene in Albuquerque, which unfortunately is still lacking in great, non-chain Italian restaurants.

This is hands-down, THE BEST Italian restaurant in ABQ. If you crave homestyle comfort Italian food, this is where it's at. The portions are huge and really reasonably priced. And the desserts? Heaven! I'm just glad I managed to snag a chance to eat here before ABQ discovers this little gem and it becomes so popular that reservations will become a requirement.

Food was amazing. We had the wings, pizza salad and after our movie went back for some dessert. The server was friendly and joked around with us. All around we had a good time. Thanks for the food!

I was not impressed, but the people that claim to know Italian food were. I was born here and if your first experience in Italian is Pizza Hut it may ruin you for Italian forever. After it gets beer and wine, it could be a fun place.

Absolutely tasteful food! We had a party of 6 and all shared our food. There wasn't a single dish any of us weren't happy with! Only reason I'm taking a star is overall price. Quantity of food is perfect but small for the prices!
