This place was an absolute pleasant surprise. I had never been before and went in a busy Sunday morning. The service was fantastic, and even after my party was missing a soup, two different people came to help us. In a world where restaurants are minimalist and drab, this place had a unique charm to it. The food was affordable and delicious. I recommend the chicken friand and the desserts.
The French onion soup was fantastic. The ham and Swiss cheese on a crassunt was very tasty. The tomato basil soup with quiche was fantastic. Service was quick and the staff very friendly and polite. We will be returning!
Quick and easy french bakery and cafe chain with a great selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, quiche, crepes, entrees and pastries. Great breakfast, brunch, light lunch or Linner spot. Small patio and lots of indoor seating available.
Our 1st time at any Madeleine's. Very happy to find this place for the food offerings! I got 2 soups and a quiche which was a perfect lunch for me! All delicious, but the quiche was the best! Very friendly, patient and helpful counter person who also delivered our food. Hubby said his French dip was the best ever, and he rarely raves about food!

Original plan was to get breakfast food, but after reviewing the menu, I really wanted to have some of their famous tomato soup, and pasta! Boy was it good! My husband opted to stick with breakfast food, and got the cinnamon roll French toast, and he enjoyed it! Absolutely love the French bread, and the tomato soup was a 10/10.
The girl who checked us out, and served us, was absolutely the sweetest, and had a great smile and attitude. She let me “taste test” the tomato soup before buying, and you can’t beat good service. Thanks La Madeleine!
It was my first time eating at La Madeline and it was the best! I have no complaints and the food was excellent! I had a Turkey sandwich with French Onion soup and Cesar salad and my partner had a Ham sandwich, mushroom soup and Cesar salad! We shared tastes of all! Thumbs up!
Interesting concept of ordering in line then sitting down for a restaurant but I like it. You're able to see all the choices in front of you while you move down the line and by the end of it our server Bella placed our order. She was very personable and friendly and let me try some of the soup before I got it which was the Potato Soupe. The food came out shortly after seated and the family overall gives this place a 5* rating for something quick and easy!
We've been frequenting this place since we travel to Albuquerque a lot. Their breakfast is very good, good prices, friendly staff, lots of parking & convenient location. Dining area was clean, lots of room for kids or wheelchairs. Bread was fresh.

We walked in at 8:20 and the employees were already shutting down the restaurant. The food was as good as any other La Madeleine restaurant. The tomato basil soup with a sandwich is my go to. Thank you restaurant chains for keeping me alive in Albuquerque. The family owned businesses can’t keep up with flavor and quality. Bon appetite!
We stopped in and had some quiche for breakfast after visiting Hearing and Balance just around the corner.
The layout inside was interesting, with a section for bakery items and takeout to the left, inside dining on the right (with a patio outside). Silverware and drinks are self serve once you place your order at the counter. Contemplated picking up some pastry items to take home but held off today as we had other things we needed to take care of. Will definitely go try that next time!
